Ip double sequence number with new digits...

So I got a question regarding ips.

If I use ip 123.1.2.3

And then later a new one pops up 123.1.2.34

Can I use the one ending in 34 or I could get linked for having the same as before?

That's a completely new one and safe to use. The thing is with IPs by their very nature they must get swirled around. If my neighbour gets an IP that I have used is that a problem for either of us? No it isn't.

Why would it not be a problem for both of you if you both used the same ip? paypal and ebay link ips or no nomatter what from my understanding or am i wrong?

It really isn't that hard to use different IP addresses for seperate accounts.

If the IP addresses are only slightly different, well at least they are DIFFERENT, that is what matters.

IPs are only one part of linking. ISPs have a bank of ips which get allocated as required. Logic says that numbers will be used by more than one person. The problem starts when 2 accounts log on using the same ip at the same time

It takes a lot more than just IP to link accounts fyi

^ Exactly, people get caught up with IP's too often, many other factors are a lot more important.

It is simple enough just using different IP addresses anyway though.
