Paypal: Supplier contact document, and SSN?

What do I do when paypal asks me for my supplier information, and SSN number? Ive heard about giving them your SSN number and changing the last 4 numbers (not sure if that works or not), but Im not sure about the supplier information.

You make sure you have this contingency covered before you list. Regarding SSN I cannot help as we don't have them (yet) in the UK
