Multiple accounts on ebay
 

ebay are catching onto the fact people are using multiple accounts to overcome limits.
my 9 year old account is restricted from selling due to DSR.
i have a 2nd ebay account linked to the same paypal account, with the same details, but a different email.

I was going to use the 2nd ebay to sell, but as now ebay are catching onto the fact people are using multiple accounts to overcome limits i think this might be too risky to do now. in the past when account A was hot, you could use account B but ebay have caught on

And if it's something you allege ebay are catching onto, why blather in open forum?


Now this is the Catch-22.
Where there accounts joined to one paypal without having limits on either account, they stay OK.

But where dopey users all jumped on the let's beat the ebay limit wagon AFTER accounts got limits, these are having problems.

How, why did you manage to get that 9 year old account get low DSRs.
You have been thro' more than enough to with that account to know to keep it squeaky clean. Have you been in dream-land again?
ebay.co.uk is suspending for low dsr's most of the time.
Are you going to be able to repair the problems? :juggle:

I think you got caught coz you were using the same pp address for both different eb acounts. I used to do that a few years ago but never got caught. Its only a matter of time on situations like that.

Since I foundd here, I got wise and dont do that anymore and keep things cool and its all been sweet for 4 months(early days!)

I feel its still all good for us for many years as I personally think one of the main things eb/pp care about is keeping themselves within the law (as are most of us).

Thats why they have their mad rules and receiving limits and all that jazz about money laundering etc.

However, as far as they are concerned, they are sorted and within the law and at the same time we are too. At the moment it is a good idea to have multi accnts 10... 20... 30.... 40... depending on your needs. No need to lift limits unless you are big time and are selling expinsive items (ie. if you selling antiques for 2g plus... no hope as your receiving limit will be 1900).... can easily get limits lifted if you are a bit smart/cheeky!

For people like me selling cheapy items their new procedures dont affect me.

I do understand many sell lots and need limits lifted and all that.
