eBay stealth account coming upon 1 month mark undetected in a few days is it safe?
 

I was suspended from eBay so i made a new account. It will be a month in about 1 week and i have yet to encounter any suspension issues. Is my new account full proof of suspension? i have about 7 feedback. I do not want to get to comfortable and start buying many items to sell just to end up getting suspended.

Currently i am

using a New Phone Number that has never been used before on any account
using the Same Address though :(
using a New I.P Address
using a New Name
using a New PayPal
using a New Bank account
using a New credit card
no longer selling the items that got me suspended and selling many used items rather than all new with tags.



What are the odds of my account being linked? My PayPal account shows the address as being the same because that was the only way i could start selling and become confirmed. But i changed it on eBay to some address that my mom rents out.

I think using the same address with deffinitly get you into some trouble. My advise would be to use a UPS Store address, and once you run into an issue where you buy something or a customer needs a return, than go sign up for the box. Its only $10 a month, maybe more in bigger cities.

Honest Odds: 50/50. Once you start making good money they will review your account, they may link the address, which will lead them to a temporary selling restriction making you send in id/billing address, or may simply suspended it with no chance or return. I would switch the address asap.

The address will hose you for sure. just use the account for as long as you can but prepare now for a new account so you wont be down for too long.

There are MANY ways to do the address thing if you would just research it on here there is tons of information for you.

That is one of the basics really so I am surprise you did that to yourself.

Just get another account ready to go so you wont miss a beat. IF for some reason you dont get suspended then you have 2 going for you.

No account is safe from suspension. Even if you do everything right. Since you used an address associated with a suspended account its probably just a matter of time.

Like KingRay said, get some other accounts up and running so that if this one is shut down, you have another to fall back on. Make sure you get the stealth guide so you know what to do an what not to do on the new accounts!!

Make multiple accounts using diff addresses, spread sales and expect this one to be linked sometime in the future for exact same address. Hopefully, your old account was not owing money to ebay/pp.

I have sense removed all the address, i removed them yesterday and i am still under the radar, (selling slowly, no policy violations.)

This is my only stealth account is it safe now?


By safe i dont mean fort knox because i know eBay can come and limit/suspended at any moment, i mean more secure than before.

As said above, you may be or may not. You in my opinion are going to get limited but if they dont catch it then you are fine. no one will know for sure on here.

BUT, to be safe again as I said above you need to get another account moving so you can use it IF the other does get limited or suspended. why wait and be in the dark when it goes down.

have a backup. It is easy if you follow the steps int he book and do lots fo research on here.

Dont just expect to ask every question that is in the book on here though and get a response. You need to be well versed in the book before really asking the simple questions. its just going to annoy everyone.

once eb / ppal have your address, they have it forever - even if you remove it from your profile, it stays in their system, so it is probably just a matter of time.

Open up some new stealth accounts and have them ageing / selling the odd item so you are all ready to go if anything does go wrong!

If you have entered anything that is a potential link but then removed it, this makes no difference. PayPal will have that info on file.
