Trying to start a new acct

Hi folks. I am so thankful to have found all of you and I am hoping for some feedback. Like many of you, I was suspended suddenly from ebay and left with a massive amount of inventory. We were lucky enough to have found a company who wanted to establish a similar ebay business (not in any Vero products but in similar general easy-to-sell products) and was willing to take over our entire inventory to combine with their own AND to hire me to do all of their ebay listings for them. I wanted to make sure that my new employers account could never be linked to my suspended account on ebay so I did purchase the stealth guide and have followed every step in detail. The new employer can establish an entirely new ebay/paypal presence in a completely different state with their individual name, address, bank accounts, credit cards, etc. Basically everything that is described in detail in the Stealth guide. I have a few questions I am hoping some of you can answer.

1. IP address issue - although I can change my IP address, it is still trackable to my location (which is in an entirely different city/state from my employer). Will ebay be able to track the suspended account to the "town" that is connected to a suspended account since it does not match the "location" of the employers address? (i.e. New Employer Chicago vs my area in New York)?

I have been looking into Proxy services or Virtual Private Networks that could hide my IP address - would that work for ebay/paypal?

2. Items for sale: Many of the items for sale, will be the exact same items for same (although they are not in any way "unusual" on ebay) as in my suspended account. For instance, if I sold popular brand sportswear in my suspended store and that is what the new employer is selling - would that link the accounts even though there are hundreds of thousands of similar items on ebay?

3. Pictures: Many of items that will be sold, were purchased on ebay through my suspended account (also the items for sale by the new employer as I was also a supplier to them for their brick & mortar store). To get professional high quality photos, they were provided by the resource we purchased our items from with the condition that we do not alter their photos when we use them in our online selling. Can ebay link accounts for using similar photos in an entirely new account?

3. I previously used Auctiva and understand that Auctiva uploads are not "linkable". Is this true and could we continue to use the existing Auctiva account by obtaining a new ebay token to the new account or do we have to set up an entirely new Auctiva account.

As an alternative does anyone know if Vendio provides similar viability as Auctiva by not being traceable by upload or IP address linking?

4. Is it safe to really discuss issues on this forum or could there be ebay personnel monitoring discussions here.

I would say 'most likely' wouldn't you? That's why so many of our 'work arounds' go down - because some people are not circumspect enough.

Regarding the rest of your post I will let some of the more experienced stealthers from the US deal with it.

Good luck and welcome to the forums

Why can't your employer get his own accounts using his real address and phone number? Is it because you plan to sell "popular brand name"-like sportswear?

My employer IS setting up the ebay and paypal account with their real address and phone number. But since they are hiring me to do all their work from my home location - they will be utilizing a phone number that forwards calls to my location and all emails should be sent directly to me. The IP address was my biggest concern.

This is hopefully only one part of getting back up and running as I would still like to re-establish my own ebay presence and have been studying the stealth guide feverishly.

Get a seperate dial up account for your stealth activities

Dial-up is so true but such a pain. Since you have dynamic IP and not static IP, the simplest way is to power down (turn off) the main modem and restart - yes it will affect the other comps momentarily...can this be tolerated?

You have to unplug the modem source and not the comps =)
