When does Paypal want docs?

So I have opened up stealth account, just wondering when paypal will ask for docs. Account is in AUS so that may be a bit different, but not sure if it is when money goes above $1000, or when the the total transactions equal $1000. Account is verified, but I just want them to ask for the docs and then I will get creative like I have done before and send them in and then I will know whether or not I am safe or not.

Thanks...

The amount you accumulate should have nothing to do with them asking for docs. its all about customers and if they file claims or not, feedback? Not the amount you have in balance.

Well, when you sign up they send you an email which talks about being prepared for/if the time comes and they make some mention of the $1000 ammount. But that is why I am asking people since I am not sure...

^ Look at your receiving limit in PayPal. That will give you an idea on when they will ask for docs.

Don't forget though, PayPal can ask anytime.

Wrong advice. You are NOT in the country concerned. Assumptions are not good.

In Australia, in the UK, there are anti-money laundering regulations. Paypal has requirements to meet those regulations. OP is referring to that matter.

Depends on many factors, which I would love to know..... Ive created stealth accounts and been asked for docs within 300.00 - of course I received that in 25 small transactions spread across 36hrs.

I also got real creative on that account...... real creative.. and gave them everything they asked but paypal didnt buy it for one second..

This causes me to question the effectiveness of stealth accounts in the first place. But I was making mistakes then that I am no longer, like using a VPN for all paypal traffic.
