I realize that there have been posts like thismbefore, but I never seem to get a clear cut answer. I hear suntrust is great for mismatched names, and they also allow instant-verification. Now, the name on the bank and the name on the PP account are TOTALLY DIFFERENT (super stealth?). I dont want to try instant verification only to be thrown to the "We will deposit 2 small..." screen =/.


Thoughts?

Don't ever use Instant verification with any bank. Unless you are using VBAs just to become verified. I have SunTrust they are great doesn't matter if you do not even have a name it will work. Wait for the 2 Small deposits they take 48hrs to post to the account. :)

Um, IDK about canada but here you just give you info online like you ssn & DL number.

Suntrust does not operate in Canada but in States, that's cool if you don't have to fax in documentation and worry about paperwork - thanks for the info. DL number too though eh? That could be a problem.

Ha naw - I actually try to avoid mixing in friends with business/finances - too many ways for stuff to go wrong. I'll do it myself if I need to and if I can't, well, sux to be me.

I have found way too many friends/associates go ballistic when it comes down to money. Few very close friends could do something but I figure I will try online or make a slight road trip.

Sidenote: Yeah Sideswipe was the bot to have/be growing up.

I used the instant verify process for a non eBay Paypal account and I my name is banned on Paypal.
Will this come back to haunt me if I try to sell on eBay in the future or did I squeak by.
