Mac address question.
 

Good morning. I have done several searches both here and google, went through the stealth guide and still could not find a definitive answer to this one.

I was wondering if I use a VPN does that also hide both the mac address for my computer and my broadband data card too?

I don't know how this answer works but I do know that it does. The answer is no. You should use SMAC or another MAC spoofing software to spoof your VPN MAC address (there is only 1 if you connect to the internet through your main computer, it automatically shares the access). You will still need to spoof your broadband data card. My process:

ADSL Modem -> Wireless Router -> Wireless USB Adapater -> VPN Internet

each of these has a MAC address. From what I understand, Amazon can only see the 2 closest MAC addresses (this is true even through VPN, as I lost all but 2 accounts from linking by using my phone for internet). So here is how I avoid it now

ADSL Modem (can't spoof) -> Wireless Router (login to router change MAC) -> Wireless USB Adapter (I have a different one for each account) -> VPN Internet (spoofed through SMAC, all 5 sets of letters/numbers are different)

Now according to theory, I wouldn't need to spoof my router, but I want to be damn sure they can't link me, also it only takes 1-2 minutes to restart everything. I follow the steps exactly as they are in the stealth guide (minus the wait times).

Think I am just going to buy a new computer and get a new bb card. This sounds way too complicated for me to do without messing up.

Unless I can use my ipad to access pp? I have no plans to do ebay at all.

What are you doing with PP? Just checking transactions? I use my iPad all the time.

I was going to use it to circumvent the mac address change for my computer. I never used it when I had my account so it's clean.

its really not that complicated. Takes me not even a minute to switch between accounts. One of the fastest was in my opinion. I don't believe that paypal tracks your MAC address, if that is what you are referring to when you say PP
