How Long can you go without paying eBay fees until Account Suspended?

Does any body know how long I can go with out paying the eBay fee's ?

As My account has now been restricted from selling which happened yesterday.

How many days do I have left until they suspend my account ?

Why can't you just pay the fees you incurred?

you can go about 2 months without paying fees. when your selling privileges get limited you can pay with bank account using any aba number and made up account. That will get you 2 more weeks.
Once the account is permentaly restricted you usually have around a month to make it right.

I believe the recession was over a year ago. Also, I'm pretty sure you are able to pay those fees if you are selling alot then.

You used their service therefore pay the fee's. :attention:

I have gone about 2-3 months without paying a fee on 1 account just because I got lazy and wanted to test it out and they finally took it down. I sent a nice money order with a cute little note apologizing and etc and 1 week after them receiving my payment they re-instated my ebay account with no problems. DO NOT PAY THE MONEY BACK TO THE COLLECTION LETTER AGENCY BECAUSE THEY WON'T RE-INSTATE YOU. Pay back the money to ebay headquarters with your account id number and username and any other related info that will help them find your account faster in their system. I just commited the error of sending money to a collection letter to see if they would re-instate me and its been over 2 weeks now and nothing. I will probably have to contact ebay now. :)

Oh and if you don't pay one day they might find you and make you pay if you leave many stealth accounts without paying seller fees. Use google and find out.

Not the recession.. I've run into this in the past too. It's called not optimizing your cash flow. You spent past your profits and into your revenue. That means no money for fees and even worse, no money for new inventory...

Not a thread worth continuing ha

No it's just gotten worse and I am not sure what you mean if you are selling alot you should be able to pay your fees. Lots of people sell cheap items and only make a little bit. And sometimes life's emergencies can prevent having the funds.

I let my account go into default on purpose, long story but it worked out great. I wanted it closed for a while so didn't pay the fees for a while, they weren't owed anyhow. Paypal was dishonest. Never got a collection letter but I did let them know when I would be paying them

Problem is Paypal will keep debiting the old account even after you keep calling to tell them when you can pay and that the account is closed. Blows me away how dishonest these folks are. They pretend they didn't know it was closed though I called 3 times to tell them there is no such thing as that account. It doesn't exist

It makes no difference if the account is closed due to fees, they reinstate it immediately upon paying them. My other acount was closed due to $3 fees, I hardly use it so finally logged in after some months. Sent a money order and it's good to go to. I thought they were linked but apparently not (or Ebay doesn't care) Last time I spoke with Ebay I was told my account "was a good account in good standing" so it's all fine
