Ip changes every time I reconnect (unplug it) and its prepaid. $30 - 1GB $50 - 5GB (or 3GB, cant remember)

What's it called? No contract? Where did you buy it?

I had t-mobile 3g internet a year ago and it gives you new ips. I cut it off since I went dsl and cable instead for right now. Enjoy!

What is Rogers doing? And I swear I saw some articles regarding a few providers implementing 4G together up there??? Not immediately, but undergoing soon.

T-Mobile 4G is going H.A.M. right now. Nothing like 3G.

I use the ZTE MiFi box, $140 from Wal-Mart and $30 for 1GB/month prepaid. Amazing service and as Dino has shown, speeds are lightning.

This forum really needs to stay better up to date with this prepaid game. It's all I use and convenient as hell :)

Oh, and almost forgot in case this interests anyone...dumbass CraigsList has yet to block many of these 4G IP ranges. So you can dish out the a.s.s whoopings to your competitors on CraigsList right from the couch. This won't last forever though so jump on it...

Damn. Well, perhaps it was more geared towards CDMA? I went back and found a lot of the articles focused on Bell Mobility. Still can't remember who else was mentioned this year though, but it was within the past few months.

Speeds are amazing, but I had to get it fixed first and I was stuck with sub-56k speeds for the first 3 days I had it. Luckily, the T-Mobile reps are very helpful and expedited my engineering ticket and got it fixed very quickly.

Gotta get that ZTE MiFi box, so much easier in my opinion.

Depends on what you're doing. I honestly dont see why you would need over 1GB. I use it to set up accounts, get them started, set up emails, log on to ebay accounts every once and a while, etc. Other than that, I do all of the heavy-bandwidth stuff on my main PC after all of the accounts are linked to Inkfrog. I dont have to waste data uploading pics on the usb stick when I can just do it on my Fios

1GB doing well here. And that includes photos. Not hundreds though. Justa dozen or so. I never go over the 1GB.

Go get one, and Wal-Mart is best. T-Mobile is so n00b that some stores don't even know these things are offered on prepaid plans or even the new plans that have been introduced like the 1GB/$30/month. Wal-Mart specifically sells the MiFi box in a special prepaid promotional package. Save the hassle and confusion and scoop the box there.
