WTF 2nd EBay account suspended right away

Since my old ebay was restricted from selling, I had opened a 2nd ebay account about 12 months ago only for buying with the same details and linked to the same paypal account.

so i opened a 2nd auctivia account and added that under my main auctivia account, so yesterday i upgraded the 2nd ebay buyer account to a seller account and listed 2 items for 5 days and just today ebay have suspended this account and are asking for

proof of name/address
proof that i have the actual items

items were price at £35 and £2.50

account was over 12 months old with 14 feedback

shall i send the docs they want or will doing this link me to my 9 year old account that is restricted from selling?

is it time to go stealth and forgot the above?

That was a disaster waiting to happen Lucy. What were you thinking of? You are hardly a noobie:doh:

I wouldn't waste any time money or docs on this account as it's going nowhere IMO.

Back to basics hon and start again

Unless anyone knows different of course .....................

:pop2:

What was the first account restricted for?

Restricted or perma suspended?

If you read the TOS if 1 account goes down and you have two with the same details the other goes along with the first.

Why are you not stealth yet?

These accounts are obviously in real details. What you have done is such a basic and common thing, things that most people do before finding stealth.

Time to step up Lucy. I know you will have no problems with stealth, just consfused on why you aren't doing it already :)

the account might be toast but you never know untill you find out.

You have nothing to lose by sending them in, at the end of the day you could catch a blye, doubtful but it does happen.

i would try my luck.

If it dont work out then move on.

No point sending the docs in at all unless you can sort out the problem with the linked account.

This is only a recently opened sellers account with 14 buying feedback, that is linked to a suspended account. Why continue with it when you can go stealth and open fresh accounts with no issues.

It's linked to a selling restricted account, I thought? Did not think it was on permanent restriction ( the 9 year old been thro' the mill account).

Always a point to send in documents. Until ebay/paypal say POQ, take every step to keep an account.

Of course, be making stealth as well :pop2:

Because it is not write in stone, at this stage you are dealing with human begin that are susceptible to mistakes and the occasional can't be bothered attitude or even have there own gripe with pp, it is not 100% stuffed although it is the usual outcome it's not a guarantee

well the 9yrd old account I can use to buy but not sell anymore.
the 2nd ebay account was opened up on the same address, same details, i used that for about a year to just buy stuff, then i used auctivia (new account, linked to the main account) to list, everything went fine, until ebay removed all the listings and suspended the account, they want

proof i have the products i listed in stock
pic id
proof of address

Do you think its good trying to send these in and see if they remove the suspension on the 2nd account?

When the 9yr account was suspended ebay said, i'm not allowed to open a 2nd account (my 9 year account has so far not been linked, still use it to buy, cant sell on it though)

will sending the docs in mean that ebay could link the account to my 9 year account and suspend that as well?

GreenBean 08-10-2011 07:01 AM

Not making sense.

You got a selling suspension on your 2nd account.
That account was one year old & only used for buying.

Main account got suspended for selling.

SO despite ebay saying do not use ebay, you are not allowed to have a 2nd account, you, of your own free will, made that one year old account into a selling account. Quite, what did you think would happen?

You want to submit documents ? You want to lose both accounts?
I'd leave the accounts well alone from selling:juggle:
They are linked, they are in trouble. You did it to yourself.

yeh your right, didnt think what i was doing at the time, just going to leave them accounts and start from fresh stealth
