Seems like a trap....

Ugh, you just never know with these people.
I have a stealth account that is 7 months old, has never made over 500 bucks in a month, and I NEVER had the 21 day hold. I am still staying around that dollar mark, and now I get the "from now on, payment holds, blah blah."

But on the other hand, EB has increased my selling limits on both accounts that are attached to this PP. It's like they WANT me to load up my PP and then they can freeze it.

Oh deary me oh my, the games people play.

Just do what you always do - if it isn`t broke, why fix it. Make other stealth backups.

FandangoKango 06-27-2011 04:58 PM

With ebay everything is possible. Keep a spare 10-20 accounts available incase anything happens to your best accounts! :pop2:

I think I have been hearing that almost everyone is getting 21 day holds now, new and OLD accounts...
It's never been much of a problem for me... The hold can be lifted with a delivery confirmation or +feedback.

Just withdraw the money as it comes in try to leave very little in your paypal account.

KingRay 06-28-2011 01:20 AM

I dump mine empty daily if I can. They dont need any balance to profit from.

what is the average you should leave in your Pay pal acct.?

NotAHappyBunny 06-28-2011 06:27 PM

enough to cover a few refunds, fees etc - to avoid money withdrawls from bank.

After viewing post on here regarding this info there is no set amount.

Just as the above said though why not keep just enough in case there is a claim. Cant hurt.

other than that just clean it out as much as you want. Others have their opinions but only speculation. I have done this for years on all account and never have I ran into any problem or phone calls that some speak of.

GrannyT 06-29-2011 08:48 AM

I always leave £100 in each of my accounts and clear the rest daily:pop2:

holyhell 07-01-2011 02:25 PM

I spoke to someone at PP on the phone and they said what all of you are telling me. Leave some in there to cover any issues, and withdraw at will. He was saying to leave like 300 bucks in there, in the back of my mind I was like, "I don't think so buddy. Not THAT much."
Thanks gang:clap:

yellow0102 07-01-2011 05:26 PM

I like to leave at least $50 - $100 in mine :pop2:

NotAHappyBunny 07-01-2011 06:50 PM

i suppose it depend on you item prices - if your items are low priced - leave a smaller amount to cover a few hiccups.

most importantly CUSTOMER SERVICE goes a long way trust me buyers always seem to catch an orgasm when i respond quickly to their messages.. so if you keep your customers happy the more likely they are to "work out a deal" with you. With that said.. Means less cases opened, negative feedbacks, and CHARGEBACKS,

I totally agree. The WORST THING you can do is to receive an iqnuiry and not respond quickly. NEVER let them sit for hours.

Responding quickly calms them down and says that you are legitimate. Making them wait for a response gives them time to imagine all sorts of things.

I like to leave about $50. Remember you can always add money using moneypak if you must.
