Default " accounts selling same items in different format: trouble

I have 2 linked accounts. One account has an auction format and other account has a fixed price format for the same items. Do you think it can violate any eBay policy ??

It depends on what you mean by linked. do you mean legally linked accounts where ebay knows you have 2 accounts which you can have? If so then you can do that all day long.

If you mean that you dont want them linked then I would change it up a bit.

If they are not onto you for any suspensions or anything then there really is no reason to try and find something to get you on.

You mainly just have to worry if you did something wrong on one of them or one gets limited.

I would keep the as separate as you can for sure.

Ok I will try to explain,

My primary account was opened on 2008 and started selling on 2010. After 4 month of selling I got a top rated seller. Then I opened a new ebay+paypal account on my father`s name , address , credit card , and bank account . BUT I did a big mistake and started to list items from same PC with same IP. (yes a huge mistake). After about 3-4 month my father started to manage this account from his home (different IP and PC). Now I am guessing that they are linked forever , even If I have not logged in to this account about 6 month.

Now on the first account I have a very low policy compliance because of VERO (Patent violation). Now I want to go slow therefor I want to sell Items that I have on my father`s account because they are not VERO.

So here is a question .... Are these accounts linked for sure ?

If eBay discover that I am selling identical items , what they can do ?

Thanks again for your help....

1. Same PC, same IP - I can bet they are linked 100% - does that mean 1 bad move will kill the other? Not 100%. All relative.

2. Might as well make new stealth accounts and move activity out of that linked scene is the best suggestion to avoid a potential bad block.

Yes they are linked. However if neither is banned you could be ok. However if one goes down so does the other.

As he said though, one is under scrutiny for patent mess. Do what do what RSOT said and you will be fine.
