Sending invoice instead of paying directly

i was wondering,

can your paypal/ebay account get limited/restricted if:

you give the buyer the payment invoice to pay you (which bypasses ebay) to pay for said goods that the buyer won, instead of the buyer clicking pay now through ebay, then getting transferred to paypal and then paying...?

or will this not matter?
