Stealth account for buyng only on e B y?

Hi,

I successful create few stealth seller account on E and withdraw money for them. But now I want to create stealth account only for buying on E.

Anyone have experience with it?

Of course in sellers account I can type different address etc. But on buying account data must be right... Any ideas?

I can change my name, but e and pp can be suspicious about address? In other hand I got fully suspended account on e and pp but my brother (he live at same address and never sell) got fully working both accounts. I know I can buy by him but I want my private account and dont bother him.

Rgs,

Daniel.

Same principles apply for buyer accounts BUT eb ay is very easy on these accounts - not so strict.

Problem is if you want to change to seller account after some feedback....be careful.

All the best.

I differ from other posters here in that I don't see the point. You can easily get stuff delivered from any stealth account by adding an address in PP.

Just my opinion

My input is that buyer accounts dont seem to get any where near the same amount of scruitiny as seller accounts.

You should be okay just creating an account in you real details, but maybe change your name slightly.

Ofcourse make sure you follow other stealth principles new IP, delete cookies/diff windows user etc. to prevent it from being linked to any other accounts you may have.

Or as GT states another option is just making a stealth account for buying, but make sure you message the seller before you bid to make sure they are okay delivery to an alternative address. A good reason to give the seller is that its a present for someone.

Ok, thank's for all answers. I will inform how it's goes.

I try to avoid 'buying' on ebay. You know the item has to be so unusual, so really really must have, there's no need. If I buy, then it's on a selling account that has a reachable address & such.

Rgs,

You have to understand that even now your brother's account might get into trouble and ebay will say they are linked. (they are linked because you are brothers & the address is the same.)
You should not risk making a buying account at the address of a suspended account. Lots of people are saying it's a buyer's account, it does not matter. Well, it does. Soon as ebay 'sees' or 'finds' anything that links to a suspended account you get linked & troubles.
This is a really silly thing that users have started to say. You got suspended? Then any other account should be new & different info :juggle:

Certainly will - on all of my accounts with PP I have additional addresses. They are always the same surname as on the stealth with a different initial (mum? sister? dad? brother?)

I then alter the delivery address sufficiently for the bots not to pick it up and 'stuff' comes straight to the farm or one of my forwarding addresses which is then forwarded to the farm

Easy peasy - nice and easy

And there I was thinking I was the only one who thought that!!

yup, buyers accounts are fine. as soon as you switch to a sellers, all hell breaks loose and ebay watch you hard, and start slapping suspensions and funny codes...

GreenBean 07-03-2011 08:54 AM

A buyer's account made at a supended address, using details of a suspended account is not as 'sweet' as it has been assumed.

There is a risk of the buyer's account getting an MC115.

Yep, buyer's account getting MC115.

So be careful of what is nothing but a lazy method :peace:

I would not advise adding a suspended address as an alternative addresss in PayPal, not stealth.

It's a personal preference, but I just use my real details and add a card to PayPal to make purchases on eBay. Seperate accounts as per usual.

Its NOT That Simple for MOST Members Here,,,Remember that an Address that has been used in a Suspended Ebay Sellers account or Suspended Paypal account, should Never, EVER be used Either thru Ebay or Paypal again,,,

Now I will also tell you thru Personal Experience that you CAN use such an Address to create a BUYERS account, and have No Problems at all,,

as far as "altering" the Delivery address I have 2 Comments:

1) Many members cannot "Alter" Addresses because they live in Highly Congested Big Citys where even a "Slight" alteration is a Different Place

2) How do you KNOW how much you can "Alter" The address to avoid the "Bots" while still having the ability to recieve your package,,,I can tell you that in New York it is VERY Hard, to accomplish both,,

Because I Have acess to ALL my the addresses that I use on ALL My accounts,,For me it does NOT matter,,But Creating a Buying only account is NOT that bad an Idea,,

Yes ..... I can see that. I suppose because our address is easily alterable and because the postmen know us anyway I become a little complacent which of course makes it unfair when I say things can be done easily.

Good point made:clap:

Open a business mailbox, a business paypal, sign up for ebay and that's it. All packages are delivered in the business name, I've got a few of them, they come in real handy.

Holy Cr*p,Bluntz.
Be careful suggesting something sound that works.
Not the fashion these days.:pop2:

OP might have a problem since he's not based in the USA. But your suggestion is viable for virtually anywhere else.

Yeah, it's like that for me, thought it would be the same up there in my favorite city NY, try it out only costs about $40 to open a business mailbox on the West Coast wher I'm at.

daniel001 07-03-2011 12:04 PM

Hmm, mailbox is maybe too much. I send ebay question, whether they intend at all unlock my account.

Works in the UK as well GB - my 2 oldest accounts are exactly that - it's only the newer ones that aren't.

I feel more secure with the mail box addresses and I shall be reverting back to that formula for all future accounts (if I can ever find new products to sell)

Is this for all buyer accounts or just for accounts where you are obviously just trolling for quick cheap feedback? If you buy a bunch of electronic items worth $100+ each, would such a buyer account also be risky when converted to a seller account?

GrannyT 07-04-2011 08:24 AM

I think the point that the Lumberjack is making is that in theory you can create an account for buying using suspended account details, but as soon as you get a bit jack-the-lad and think you are free and clear because you have a bit of good feedback and decide to convert it to a seller account - BOOM - end of story

I'm sure he will correct me if I'm wrong

:pop2:

ShadyOne 07-04-2011 05:37 PM

^ True, a lot of people will do this.

daniel001 07-12-2011 02:43 PM

Hi,

I set up account, add card and real adress (only my name set up different) and already buy something , so good so far.
