Two e bay linked to one PP.

I had just started my stealth and all goes well. As theres a selling limit on new e ba y acc. is it wise to had two e b ay linked to one PP.

So I could get more selling quotas.

Thanks everyone!

No, it most certainly is not wise:nono:

If you are not happy with your selling quotas open more accounts under stealth and spread the load:doh:

Multiple ebay accounts linked to the same Paypal account have their uses (ie spreading policy violations over several accounts if you sell VeRO) but remember if you lose one Ebay account, you will lose them all.

As GrannyT says, the best course of action is to open multiple PP accounts and only have one Ebay linked to each.

Using multiple linked Ebay accounts to circumvent selling restrictions on a new account is not advisable.

I use 3 established ebay accounts per Paypal. I've never had any problems.

Imakemoney 07-03-2011 08:07 AM

I also have used up to 3 ebay to 1 paypal with no problems.

What you've got to realise is though its fine having several ebay accounts to one paypal - the key is dont use them to get around their listing policies. For example you might only be able to list a certain amount in a certain category over a 30 day period.

If your making accounts to get around this it may bite you in the ass!

and ofcourse if one goes down they all go down.

I only really use different ones to seperate the types of products im selling.

GrannyT 07-03-2011 08:08 AM

Yes but if one goes down they all go down. That cannot be good stealth tactics

Then make sure you don't keep listing after getting a policy violation to avoid a suspension. Once my accounts status is "Very Poor" then I don't use it and don't get suspended.

I would advise multiple seprate eBay and PayPal accounts. Multiple eBay accounts is different as your accounts are obviously linked, so as mentioned, one goes down then they all go down or eBay links them and they all share the same limits etc

Multiple eBay accounts to one PayPal has it's benefits when done correctly but really they are all just one big account :)

I usually have 2 EB to 1 PP, but I don't open the second one immediately. I wait a month or so.

I have ALWAYS Been a BIG Fan of 1 Ebay to 1 Paypal,,,The ONLY thing that is accomplished by Mulpitle Ebay Accounts on 1 Paypal is you need to do a LITTLE less Work with Both creating and Maintaining the accounts,,It is NOT Worth the Potential Problems it can cause,,,Keep it Simple

It has been stated above of the problems you can encounter if you have a Problem with 1 of your Ebay accounts,,,well let us NOT Forget that Paypal is also a Little Fickle,,and that they also Limit and Boot accounts with the Drop of hat,,,Now Conssider if you lose the PAYPAL account (Which does NOT take much),,EVERYTHING is Done,,

All this risk for what?----Because you wanted to save the 10 Min and FEW dollars it would take to create another Paypal account?,,, or because you do NOT want to create another User account in windows to manage a Seperate Ebay/Paypal account? or because you do NOT want to spend a Few Xtra minutes a day managing your accounts?,,,

NOT worth it in my opinion,,,,,,,,,,,

A lot of NOTs there slapped - but I agree with every word you say

Not a good move any longer. Since ebay put the selling limits on accounts, they are flagging the 2nd,3rd accounts linked to an existing one, as trying to get round their limits.
 cant imagine how ebay worked that out

There's a solution there of course :)

Imakemoney 07-03-2011 11:02 AM

A lot depends how you operate.

It is doable - but not advisable if you want to be safe.

holyhell 07-03-2011 12:21 PM

I understand everything the veterans have said, and I probably wouldn't do it in the future, HOWEVER, the one particular 2EB/1PP combo of mine has been quite successful, and the selling limits go up monthly ON BOTH. Will it last forever, of course not. I have been very careful, and that's the reason for the current success of this combo.

Again, no respect to anyone, but for now, it's working for me.

GrannyT 07-03-2011 01:39 PM

I think you meant 'no disrespect to anyone' - at least I hope you did:eek:LOL:D

holyhell 07-03-2011 02:41 PM

OUCH!! Thanks for the save GT, no disrepect to anyone.
