Default Can you have two PAYPAL accounts to one EBAY account?

It's easy enough to have two ebay accounts to one paypal - I want to know if it's possible to do two paypal accounts to one ebay.

I want to have one fully verified account linked to pay fees and another that I use to accept payments. Is this doable? Any advice?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

I would not really suggest it. I do not think it can be done except if you can get the buyer to pay you off of eb ay.

Advicee would be never to pay your fees with paypal.

Therefore that would exclude a potenially dangerous problem of two paypals.

This thread backs up my advice

GB brings a solid point - use a diff cc to pay the fees.

I'm not trying to avoid paying fees. You need a fully verified account attached to sell internationally on eBay. I'm happy to use that to pay fees but I want to use a different one to receive payments.

Alps, how did you work it?

hey sorry to revive the dead but i was wondering the same thing, however, this would be for Buying, because ONCE in a blue moon, i send money around from my stealth friends to MY account (buying account) to make ebay purchases,
so i dont want to make TOOO many transfers, as i know it would look Suspicious,
BUT
if i had 2 paypal accounts (slightly different addresses N names)(different number, bank account and cc) would mean i could send double the amount....
not sure if you guys understand..

Doable but not worth the risk.

One goes down and all go down.

Not that hard to to get one eb and one pp.

It doesn't make sense. I always pay ebay fees with the paypal balance, the thread on how to pay ebay fees is a tad silly and is from the day and age where you could choose not to accept paypal. In todays world, you have to accept paypal. Its a huge pain in the rear to have to pay with a prepaid card. If you're worried about having money withdrawn from your bank account on paypal before the ebay fees are paid and you don't want to pay them, either dispute the transaction or close the bank account first.

ebay will link the accounts together no matter what, so it's not beneficial.

GMan s asking about 2 paypals to one ebay.

Paying fees was not his concern

yeah, and then you brought up an ancient thread on how to pay fees after the OP suggested, and I quote

"want to have one fully verified account linked to pay fees and another that I use to accept payments. Is this doable? Any advice? "

So yes, paying fees is his concern with one of them. You really shouldn't eat so much popcorn.

No problems with paying fees with paypal. Just be smart and cover all your bases. BUT.. You do not want to have 2 paypal accounts to 1 ebay, there is no point. Paypal only allows you to have 1 premier and 1 personal account. So that is the only you could do it...

Biggunn

the first posts in the thread were from 2011.

Then the GMan made a post just the other day on 3/24/2012. Note his opening line
'sorry to revive the dead'

Sadly First Edition did not manage to read the DATES accurately. Hence the grave danger of assuming I had spoken recently & his sarcasm.

I stopped eating popcorn ages ago

Your question is very much different than what the OP is talking about. Try making your own thread or doing a search. Your questions has actually been answered repeatedly.

Note the word in bold type. Suspicious

If you know those transfers might be suspicious, then your next proposal outdoes that.

eay/paypal prefer matching info.
Not going to work.

If it worked 99.9% of this forum would do it.

What happens is paypal sends a suspicious activity on your account notice.
They ask what your first play lunch was in Grade 1....
They then go thro every transaction of that account & look at the history of those as well.
The basis is they are protecting themselves from fraud.
Sorry to say it does not work
