Buying - paying with unlinked CC

Searched a little, couldn't find anything so I am sorry if I'm repeating - forgive me :pry:

I doubled checked and I have a real CC that is not connected to any previous PP accounts - can I link that as a payment method or will this also release my personal ( suspended ) name/info same as bank account payment?
