FR%OMM002 eBay: Important information regarding your eBay account

Hello everyone, unfortunately I'm back. I just had another account flagged. They don't send me the typical fax your license, blah blah, they sent a message telling me to upload all tracking information to the listings and when all of them show that those items have been delivered, then I can appeal the restriction.

I've seen this happen to me before but I was never able to get past it. I've uploading all tracking numbers, faxed them in and I never received a response. I followed everything to a T. I got fed up so I gave that up.

My question to all of you: has anyone gotten past this and how did you do it?

Thanks in advance to anybody that can help.

Below is the email:

Your listing activity has been restricted to ensure a safe trading
environment for you and the eBay Community, as well as confirm your use
of the services meets the guidelines of the eBay User Agreement.

I understand that this process may seem confusing. Please allow me to
explain a little more about this process. We’re committed to reducing
both fraud and negative buying experiences on eBay. To maintain a safe
marketplace, we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items,
or suspend accounts until additional information can be verified or
obtained. These actions are not necessarily meant to be a reflection of
your account’s activity, but rather a preventative measure.

You can review the eBay User Agreement here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

In order to appeal this restriction, we will need to see proof of
delivery for all of the items sold on your eBay account. This may be in
the form of feedback left from buyers or you can submit tracking numbers
for each of the items shipped. This will help show buyers more of your
selling history, which can help increase your sales.

To Fax the information, send it here:
(801) 880-7018

To upload tracking to my eBay:
Go to My eBay > Sold.
Select the item(s) for uploading.
Click the "Add tracking number" button.
You'll be redirected to the Add/Edit/Delete Tracking number page where
you can enter tracking numbers for the selected carrier.
Enter the tracking information.

When you submit the tracking number, it will be displayed below the item
in My eBay Sold (for the seller), My eBay Won (for the buyer), and the
View Order Details page (for both parties).

If you use Selling Manager Pro to manage your orders, go to Selling
Manager Pro > Sold, select the appropriate item(s), and click the "Add
Tracking Number" button.

Once you have successfully delivered all outstanding sales on your
account, you may appeal this restriction further. Unfortunately, until
then, your account will remain restricted.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

When they want to verify your identity, if you don't respond in 48 hours the suspend and ask to fax in license and bill. Try not responding for 48 hours and see if you go from restricted to suspend. Either way it does not look good, and might be easier to just open a new account.

When I got one of these before I didn't respond for a little while and nothing happened. Then I responded and again nothing happened. I hope there is a member out there that has beaten this.

To me it's a way to keep me in a black hole because we all know that not every tracking no will show delivered and not every person will leave feedback. Thanks for your response. Anybody else?

Have you tried calling them?

KingRay 07-15-2011 01:09 AM

Yeah, Just call them. That will take care of way more than most people want to believe.

livelifewild 07-15-2011 04:04 PM

KingRay is right...if you have already sent in all that info CALL THEM

Usually....get as much paper work to support you got the items, invoices, pictures of stock (try to have current date on a paper in them with your email), scan sh#t tons of post office receipts....(doctur them to have the correct info) and send them in through the upload section through online. Then give it a day then CALL....sweetly say Hi there have ya all received my info? Oh ok great just wanted to make sure you got it. How long will it take to review...ok thanks blah blah blah...and wait!!!

I was able to do something similar awhile ago and they didnt even notice that their request for my license was not met...never sent them my license. Over due the docs and then call best way to go every time.

If this is too much info and will screw us all then please delete the post lol
but no Im serious

I called to activate the account that they restricted months ago to see if I could get that going. I was very nice and the guy I spoke seemed very helpful. He said he put in a request to make that happen and I'll receive notification in 24/48 hrs. I even got a case number from him so I could call back in case that didn't happen.

I've heard that 24-48hrs email promise before so as you can imagine I'm skeptical. I'll let you all know what happens! Thanks for the info!!

No problem, keep us posted! Curious to see how it works out for you
and by the way doing what I said and very similar I got restriction removed from TWO paypal accounts. One which was limited for almost 5 months!
So hang in there and have faith:amen:
