Australia Stealth account - How to verify bank account
 

I've read Ebay Stealth and still wondering if this is the same with Australia and US. If there is anyone in Australia has the same experience.

When adding bank account information to the listing. What kind of bank account information should I add? Made-up account name and new bank account numbers?

How to verify PP account? If use bank account then what bank account name I should use? Ebay Stealth mention to use the made-up name on Eb and then a new bank account number. Is it true that they can't match name and number with bank? If use CC or gift cards then where the money can be withdrawed later on?

Always use the name of the account registration is my tip. Make sure your bank accepts deposits in different names (search around the forum should help) - you should be ok.

my bank is Commonwealth bank in Australia and I am sure they don't accept deposits only account number. They have to match with the account name as well.
Is there anyone in Australia can answer this question? Is there any bank in Australia can do this?

Dont understand your question tbh. Try it again. I use CBA so that's a start.

I rang CBA this morning and they told me they will only accept deposit when bank account name and account numbers are both correct.

Are you trying to see if you can make a bank account in your stealth name so that deposits will go thro'? If that is the question, then NO is the answer.

I had customers that reported the same problem. When they went to the counter for deposit and the teller told them the account name was different, customer was afraid that the account information is wrong.

no i have bank account under my real name, a few to choose: CBA - a join account with my wife. Westpac - my real name. ING - my wife's name. Never been used on ebay before.

Is it ok that I create PAYPAL account under Stealth name, bank account Stealth name, correct bank account numbers? CBA just told me on the phone this morning that they don't accept deposit with incorrect names (ie Stealth name I am planning to use)

Also another question, I've done the following:

-Created a new user in my computer so all the cookies and trace should be cleaned now,
-Changed IP address with TPG which cost me 10 bucks (going to change TPG soon if I move the office)
- New phone number ready but signed under same address ( is this a problem?)
- Going to use address on some sale house and redirect mail to my PO box( I know the post office lady well so I guess this is not a big problem)
- New bank account - 3 to choose from that never been used on eb

What else I should do? I am still checking emails on an old email account that was used on an Eb account 4 years ago. It was suspended long time ago. Would this be a problem?

My wife is still operating the old account on laptop using wireless mobile that was signed lately. That one can still sell but was restricted indefintely, meaning no new listing and revision of currently listing. We still need it for living.

Yes that is what you do.

CBA dont check deposits per se. So long as the BSB and account number is correct, the majority of deposits go thro' fine.

Now this is where I always recommend having a 'contact' at your bank branch. I find it best to have one who knows me., who knows names might differ. Conduct the account well, create no troubles, then it is workable.

Avoid ING. I'd look to Westpac or CBA.

My real name's initial is N. Ma and I am planning to create a name with the same initial say Nelson Ma. or Nicky Ma. I will give out bank information to customer as N. Ma
