Ssn and paypal
 

If i put my ssn number on a pp what will it tell them? My real adresses? Or jus my name? My credit is good

i think they are able to get both info.

It will eventually let them know who the real you is.
You will be linked if any previous accounts have been shut down
with your real info.

You wont have any problems then. I wouldnt give it to them but you will have a better life if you do. atleast by way of not getting so much hassles.

The SSN has nothing to do with your address. All it will confirm is your name. Maybe age. but doubt it.

They arent going to do anything with it unless you try to not to pay down a neg balance from them.

With your SSN, PP will be able to see anything that is on your credit profile. Name, address, past addresses, employers, etc. As long as none of the info has been used in the past your fine. They just want the SSN for 100% ID verification and so they can send you to collections if you leave a negative account.

with the ssn, they are able to see you credit report right? are they even allowed to view your credit report without your authorization? if they do view your cr, can't they also see the last few digits of credits card that you have presently and in the past? that wouldn't be good if you used a number before and got suspended....they might suspend you for that, then giving them the ssn was worthless.

I also got a letter from PP requesting my SS because I am at or close to the 20K limit and they want to report my received payments to the IRS. Is there anyway around this if using a stealth account?

If you are near 20k then you are a business and need to treat it as so. Get the EIN from the IRS and make it legit from here on out. you can still do a stealth paypal on an EIN. although you have to give the IRS your real SSN and business name.
Then you upgrade your paypal to a business account with that same business name.

Thats odd that you got that email from paypal. I am over 30k and still nothing from them about the IRS issue. I have my number ready for them but was just waiting for the email.
