Royal mail recorded

I did a shipment via royal mail recorded to my house to test...

i sent a letter yesterday, and i receivced it today...

sum1 in my house must of signed for it, coz i was out...

i am checking on the royal mail site and it says... "this was posted at... bla bla bla... it is working our way through the network", when i have already received it...

how long does it take to update to delivered...? if it does?

sometimes their system is a little delayed in updating.

Should show up tommorow that you've received it.

the longest ive encountered it taking to update is 4 days.

It all depends when the postman bothers to update the record at the depot, some places are better than others.

Could you explain why you sent something to yourself? I've done it myself once I had an envelope with a 1st class on, it was not marked out so I kept posting it until it finally got marked out, it took 8 days lol - (light humour)

they are almost always delivered at some point, but sometimes, a small percentage like

Delievered agreed, but 0.01% is too low. More like 5% without signature. I always send out via recorded 1st class and you can tell more or less that they have not bothered with signature if they never uploaded the exact date of delivery on the website. A lot of the time (like 15%) it still says being delivered through the system even though positive feedback is left with the buyer. :pop2:

Yeah i agree the figure is definatly higher than 0.01% sent recorded delivery and they dont obtain a signature. L A Z Y postman
