Need Advice - Friend Account Information

I wasn't really sure what the best title for this topic would be since there's many things wrong here, so if a mod knows of a better title, feel free to change it.

Anyway, I went into business with a friend on Ebay. I registered both ebay and paypal accounts in her name. I sold some stuff on it without any problems and have received positive feedback on the ebay account. The account has been suspended due to nonpayment and the email states that if this is the only reason it's suspended, they will reinstate it.

Anyway, things did not work out between us and so I was forced to pay off her checking account and close it (so I don't get stuck with her overdraft charges since both of our names were on that checking account), and I was wondering if that Ebay ID is salvageable.

If I pay the fees on her ebay account, will ebay really lift the suspension? And since the checking account on paypal is now closed, could I open up a new checking account and just put the routing and account numbers on paypal and be fine without putting my name?

I've read in the guide that some banks do not like when you deposit money into your account in other people's names, but I deposited money all the time on my paypal account when it was active and never once was my name shown on the transaction in my bank's history.

Since that account was in good standing besides the suspension for nonpayment, I'd like to try continuing to sell under that ebay and paypal. Her SS isn't on paypal, and her address that was put down was her relative's, so I don't believe I am putting her at risk at all, and I'm not selling anything illegal on it. I just want to sell the rest of the stuff I have and be done with it.

So any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

Yes in theory I believe you could do that but I would advise you to just set up a new stealth account if all you want to do is clear stock. The suspension for non-payment means the account is not in good standing and never forget Ebay tell lies as well as us. You may well settle your account and find they will not let you list

From my readings and experience, if the only problem is fees overdue, you will be ok - "ONLY" problem.

What about the paypal account? Can I just add one of my checking accounts that I've never used on Paypal and withdraw money into it even though it's not in the name on the paypal account?

Should be ok if you keep the name of the registration info on pp.
