Default Can buyers file a SnD dispute after an Unauthorized dispute?

A buyer filed an unauthorized dispute for an item one day after I shipped it, and sent me an email in broken english saying nonsense that the item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and will sue me if i do not issue a refund.

Anyways, can he open a SnaD claim with some similar nonsense after paypal closes his unauthorized claim?

What do you mean filed an unauthorized claim? you mean he said he didnt make the purchase and then said it was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ later?

If that is what you mean I would think even if he did you can fight it with your emails. Let me know if I am off track though.

Buyer bought the item, I shipped the item, Buyer send a email thinking the item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and doesn't speak English well (or at all imo), and filed an unauthorized claim with Paypal (essentially saying that he didn't make the purchase). I know for a fact that I will win the unauthorized claim, but I am concerned on whether he can open a SNAD claim on me once he receives it/the current claim closes.

I recently had almost the same thing happen to me. A buyer who speaks very little english bought something from me and two days later filed a complaint stating I sold him a copy. The item had not even been delivered. I contacted eBay and they closed the claim.

To try to resolve any potential problem and avoid any negative feedback, I offered him a refund if he didn't want the item and pointed out that there was no need to resort to such tactics if he simply changed his mind. I was VERY customer service oriented with this jackass.

He never replied to me, but opened a PayPal claim accusing me of stealing his credit card information and placing the order without his knowledge. That claim is still pending. Of course, he cannot win that one since we never even see the buyers CC info.

At first I thought he was just some goofball who changed his mind and wanted to cancel an order thinking I would give him a hard time. But I offered him an easy way out and he didn't take it. Instead he accuses me of stealing his CC info. Now, I'm thinking he is a competitor.

I wonder if we have the same guy?

They can do this, but every time it's happened to me in the past, I've called ebay and or paypal and told them what happened. When a person looks at it they have to realize the guy is screwing you.

Essentially, if you call Paypal about it they would, or at least would likely to side with you?

That's up to you. If you call them acting like an @ss or as if they owe you something, then no they won't help. But if you call up concerned, and ask for help, then yes, they will most likely side with you. If you send them a written statement in the upload documents section of the dispute, that helps a lot. Saying something like, the customer originally said this, then this, clearly he is trying to take me for a ride..... I have no other disputes, blah blah blah

buyer can almost always do what they want, they contact customer support, and say they made mistake or whatever, you need to see how it plays out, because you get amateurs who give up....alot just make threats and do not carry thru.

I would contact customer support first and give them your version.
