"New Accounts for Dummies"
 

Okay. Have 3 Ebay accounts up...only 1 has listings.

Before I mess this up again, on the 3rd account, all I have done thus far is simply open a gmail account, ebay account & paypal...not verified yet.

Intend to get a Visa Vanilla -- they seem to work well w/sellers fees. Also intend to open a new bank account for PP. Have 1 ING direct account. How do I set-up another one w/them. Can't ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on the name, ss# etc?

I think I am messing-up with the PP account. I used my husbands name & real address. Should I be using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name/address with PP matching ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name/address for account on Ebay?

Don't get a Vanilla Visa they don't work anymore.

I use Amex gift cards for eBay.

For ING you can open up to 15 savings accounts I believe. After you have one open, you can open a second one by going to 'Open an Account' and select on 'Open Now'. :)

Used a Vanilla/Visa just a few days ago and it went through w/no problems.

Aspkin -- luv your naviagation arrows :) I get how to open an account -- have 1 ING Direct that I opened just last week. When I tried opening a 2nd account with them, they said I already have an account.

Will give it another shot.

With Ing Direct you have to:

Back to my PP confusion. In setting-up a new PP account, (premier no ss required), should the name, address, etc. all be ⊗⊗⊗⊗? I get that the bank info. for them to verify must be real.

You can open unlimtied savings account, not checking I believe.


I've used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info without a problem. But you should match the info you have with eBay. Also it's a good idea to use an address that's in the same area as you, and same area code for phone number.

Why not open an LLC, Business acct-
i.e.
Sally's Collectibles + Antiques

then: use that llc for multiple acct names..
i.e. Now u can also use:
Sallys Antiques
Sallys Collectibles
Sallys inc
Sallys + co
Sallys Things
Sallys Arts

I use this method, it works for me..

BTW- To Open ANY Bank acct- to the Best of my KNowledge-with the Patriot act- u need your real info..

So ebayhateluv you opended up a variety of business accounts with ebay? I plan to do the same. Just curious when you signed up to a business account who's name under contact details did you put?

Your LLC is an Umbrella, it can have many members....

So you could actually put your own name (even though you have a suspended ebay account) Have you ever had ebay request detials about you company?

Lets say your REAL NAME is JOHN SMITH..
--You register the DBA name/LLC name with your States Comptrollers Office, Corporate Charters Division...
Then of course---JOhn Smith is the Registered Owner/ or Registered Agent..
Ebay does NOT see the Corp paperwork..

No, when you set up a business account on ebay, you give them your business name right, but you also have to give them the person who is doing the transactions. According to ebay replay (ebook) there is no verification involved but i want to be 100% certain.

So the question i'm asking when you put a name down for "the person who is doing the transactions" did you put your actual name down or a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one?
