Stealth going well. Is bulk upload ok?
 

My ste alth account is about 4 months old, and going well. I'm selling non-vero, basic items. After 3 months I took the questionaire, and was upgraded to allow me 100 items, and $5K per month. I'm listing about 100 items per month. I do this via Auctiva, and it's slow to get my 100 items posted, since it takes about 5 minutes to list each item via Auctiva.

I see eB ay has a bulk upload facility via .csv file, or Access database. It appears that you need to "sign up" for this feature, and they give you the "ok" in a day or two. This would sure speed up my auction posting.

Do you folks think that going this route would bring unneeded attention to me? I think my ste alth account is pretty rock solid...so even upon investigation, I think it would be fine. But if you folks think it's risky at all, I'll just slug it out using Auctiva.

Background on the ste alth account:
Created via a friend, using her info.
Her SS#, her CC#, her address.
My bank account, linked to ppal.
She's going to the military, and doesn't even know how to spell eb ay.
Selling about $3K/month, and withdrawing almost daily.
Using a virgin IP address, not used for ANY other eb ay activity.
Paying eb ay fees using a Vanilla Visa from Walgreens.

Does she know that you're doing this? Or did you just "borrow" her info? How are you going to deal with the 20k/200?

Yes, she's fully aware of this.
I paid her for her to create this account for me to use.
It's been running fine, thus far, for about 4 months.

20/200....I'm not familiar with this. I read up here a fair amount, and don't recall running into this issue that you speak of. Nor do I recall reading about it in The Book.

It is regarding paypal and taxes from what I have read. They ask for ss# and report to irs for tax purposes. If you don't give them the info the limit you. I suggest you do some researching and reading.

That reply isn't specific enough for me to give a response to.

Only reason I don't comment is because I have no experience with bulk upload - I hate doing things with eb and pp via bulk shrug.


As far as your setup on the account, although concerning ha, it's set so all the best.

I wouldn't use the bulk uploading man. Just stay at the pace you are at. Don't bring any unwanted attention to yourself.
