Ok, for vanilla visas, the ones STARTING with 4315 DO WORK! All vanillavisas should work. There's a trick you need to do on some, however (for example, the ones starting with 4315).
For vanilla visa, if it doesn't work when you input the CORRECT card information when you add the card, then make sure you REGISTER the zip code on your vanilla visa to MATCH the zip code on the paypal account you're attaching the card to.
THEN go to paypal, put in the WRONG expiry date and try to register it FIVE TIMES. It should go through regardless, then try to get the EXPUSE code with the $1.95 charge.
Now, it will say it wont work since it can't be verified, since the expiry date doesn't match with the card's real expiry date, so it will NOT charge your card. Try it again 5 times, and it STILL wont go through, THEN remove that card.
Now, go back, add the card again, with the CORRECT expiry date, and all should go through and it will charge your card.
As for prepaid cards, there are two prepaid cards that are the best among most in the US. They are vanilla visa and giftcardmall cards. You can grab vanilla visa in stores like 7-11. And you can grab giftcardmall cards in most grocery stores.
Now, if you want to grab some online, use paypal, go to walmart.com, look at the prices of the vanilla visas or vanilla mastercards, tally them up, and purchase a walmart e-giftcard in that amount. It will send to your email, then use THAT e-giftcard code to purchase a vanilla prepaid. Shipping is free, but if you want it faster and with tracking, it's $10. It's actually an alternate way of withdrawing funds from paypal.
| I found it quite odd, just got it out of the blue. Very weird. Maybe hes a spy, maybe he was high and just felt like being super friendly.

| jbluntz | 08-09-2011 05:49 AM | Or maybe he's just crazy in need of some attention, I think that's more likely.. |
| ovidiu | 08-09-2011 05:50 AM | Most of his PM sounds like what doughboykilla was talking about a day ago. So it's not his idea. |
| jbluntz | 08-09-2011 05:57 AM | Yeah I got the same post from azeryama on 8-6-11..
[quote]Hey, here's a trick. Some people say vanilla visa doesn't work all the time. It does, you have to know how to do it.

Hey, do you know of a payment processor like paypal to send money from a prepaid giftcard (like vanilla visa or giftcardmall) to another account? I'm trying to find a way to extract the funds from a giftcard and send it to my bank account.
For example, With paypal and google checkout, you can just make 2 accounts under different IPs, and send money from your prepaid giftcard (on one account) to your main account with your bank account information attached to it. That way, the funds are in your main account, and you can just withdraw the balance to your bank account.
Obopay also has this option of transferring funds from a giftcard, but the limits are too low and vanilla visa doesnt work on it. Paymate does too but has a $5 maintenance fee, which sucks.
I would just do that with paypal but they're too volatile. Any other suggestions on getting funds from a prepaid giftcard? [quote]:/ |

| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 10:18 AM | Can't an administrator check who the PM's are going to? |
| Sell4more2 | 08-09-2011 10:47 AM | LMFAO!!! Jbluntsz that's just funny what he wrote to you about Vanilla Visa! They actually
work without having to do all that crazy stuff he mentioned. |
| KingRay | 08-09-2011 11:45 AM | yeah I got them all too. I have had several long PM's from the lately. Just ignored them as I figured it was BS.
Saw they were going to GreenBean and left it at that. |
| GrannyT | 08-09-2011 11:50 AM | Should I feel slated or isolated because I didn't get any???

| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 08-09-2011 12:12 PM | I think the user is targeting specific people after reading his/her posts.
If they think they are clued up, then they will message them.
If you did not get a message, dont feel left out - I got one neither
After all this, I only trust the man himself - Mr. Aspkin :) (and his firm) |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 12:17 PM | I agree! I listen to GreenBean mostly. She has been VERY helpful for me...THANK YOU, GREENBEAN!!..I have been on for a short time and was very skeptical of who to listen to/believe. I still am not sure whether Ebay & PP can get on the site. Can't they purchase the guide and get on a stealth member in disguise?? |

That is why we don't put out certain info in threads, only PM.
Wait a minute...How do we know that you are not a spy SweetPea? LMAO! Only kidding!!! |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 12:35 PM | How did you know? I've been caught! LOL!! There are a lot in the posted threads for them to get hold of..can't say everything through PM's. Makes you wonder!! |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 12:39 PM | I go back to my real job (K teacher...yes we can get restricted too! LOL) next week. I will definitely miss getting on here full time. It has been a riot (for the most part!!). |
Do you teach sales and marketing?
Going to teach the kids how to go "stealth" on ebay? LOL! |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 01:29 PM | How did you know!! LOL |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 08-09-2011 01:39 PM | who can you trust I am always weary of newbies, especially the ones that know a lot already and give advice to others pretty much soon after they join.
Some could be working for the dark side or others have been banished from here only to return under a covert name......
...... but detictive Alps and his doggie can always sniff out a rat!

| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 01:54 PM | Good point! I have been selling on Ebay for about 10 years. First time, after 7 years I was hit with VERO. Second account, I created my own by reading A LOT!! In April, I was restricted because my DSR fell just enough to keep me from selling. Teaching is more than Ia full time job, so I listed it takes me about 3-4 days to get things out sometimes. Do you think buyers care? Obviously not! I was careless and created another account the same week and did everything right except changing my MAC address. They told me I was "using the same machine". My activity on the site must be somewhere before I bought the stealth guide, even dating back 7 years ago!! =) As soon as I got the guide, I saw my mistake immediately. I hate Ebay with a passion...and to think they are only 150 miles from me...hehe! ...if you know what I mean! I would love for anyone to beat the system. My family thinks I am crazy and should quit before I get in trouble with IRS. I think I should give it another shot! I will PM my account info if I ever get going again! I am so paranoid that I am ready to buy a new pc, router, and modem. The one thing I am VERY weak on is changing my IP and Mac addresses. This is my last chance to get on...at least what my other half is telling me (or worst half!!) and I have to make sure it is PERFECT!! I need someone to come here and show me =) You are probably think I am a real idiot LOL!! I don't know everything, but I have done A LOT of leg work..PM me and I will tell you who I really am...or maybe I shouldn't trust you:suspicious: LOL!! |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 01:59 PM | How do people get banned from this site? I did see one last week that said "banned" and was still posting on this site? How does that work? |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 08-09-2011 02:15 PM | Rudeness, no manners, do not adhere to forum rules, foul language, bad attitude, illegal activities and some other things (all reasonable)..... I dont know how the banned user was still able to post. |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 02:18 PM | I know of one on this site that is pretty rude and makes snide remarks. |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 08-09-2011 02:46 PM | ^ shi* - hope its not me - if it is, soz, I am a bit hardcore sometimes :) |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 02:49 PM | No, but you have "communicated" with the person today  I guess I shouldn't have shared my life "Ebay" story, but I am hoping I can earn some trust on the site. :yar:
I think we should send one of us :spy: into Ebay! |

Kinda like how your "post number" updates in every old thread.
If I'm wrong I'm sure GB or someone will correct me. |
| SweetPea | 08-09-2011 04:41 PM | That makes sense. He was the one who started the thread and I didn't look at the date. Thanks! |

from now on am gonna call you Ruthless Ray ha!;) |
| GrannyT | 08-11-2011 06:09 AM | Aaah - KingRays all right - he just says it as it is - no problems with that at all IMO:thumb:
:pop2: |
| xdirc | 08-11-2011 06:49 AM | I have to agree with GT. Absolutely nothing wrong with telling it as it is. Why sugar coat anything? Especially since most of us should be mature adults. All it does is give a false sense of security or self-dignity, because you got babied instead of someone being real with you. But there are the handful that got babied growing up and will end up being in their 30s expecting to still be babied. Which they may turn out to be a serial killer, rapist, cho-mo, etc..
If you cant take a little constructive criticism, then you'll never succeed. Sometimes its easier for the person on the outside looking in to see things that others may not. Or, you may be thinking you're doing something wrong, but when someone else tells you that your messin up, its easier to accept. Theres always gonna be some flaws or faults. But we learn from those mistakes and should also learn from others mistakes, but most of us (myself included) are a little hard-headed.
I took an Anger Management class when I was in prison. Thats what they teach us. LoL Constructive criticism.. Cognitive thinking.. Having contingency plans.. |
Ruthless Ray,naaa
Ruthless but right Ray ;) |
| SweetPea | 08-11-2011 09:23 AM | GrannyT...I guess we might be important after all...this person just sent me a private message asking how I get past the 4 questions. Has anyone responded to this person (not honestly of course!)?? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:46 AM. | |
