Ebay Phone ID verification questions
 

I just got off the phone with them regarding my stealth account. Trying to verify my ID. I had one question and one question only. They asked what other names I had used before. They were all first names and had nothing to do with my stealth name. So i answered none of the above. Now I gotta send in docs.

First name of stealth is JEFF. Choices were:

1) edward
2) kent
3) john
4) paul
5) none of the above

My question is that, if I google my stealth full name and adding any one of the first name choices they gave me and one of them came back with search listing results, should that be the answer?

It's my first time calling them in for verification on stealth and just wondering if I did it wrong. I did a google search for the first choice "edward" with the full name of my stealth account and there were some results of it being a middle name. Just wondering if I should've said "edward" as the answer.

Either way, just trying to learn from this and get better and more prepared the next time around. It is my first stealth so I was bound to make mistakes on. You guys think its worth trying to get docs for this or just let it go?

its not. its another post to ask a different question that came up from my first post regarding the mc999. i mean if its not allowed then i guess ill just continue on to the original post and ask through there. sorry for any confusion

That was my thinking too (double post)...Edward, Kent, John, or Paul...hmmm..are any of these your REAL first name? Did you ever have an account with your real name? If yes to both questions, you've been linked.

Creating a stealth account isn't hard if you have the stealth guide, which you do. Study it like the Bible :amen:

i got the same problem...we used stealth info so what we should do when ebay confirm ID like that.they offer some question abt stealth info :[ ...
any ideas?

Stick with your ID you created. If they ask any questions, use stealth info for your answers. The worst they will do is ask you to fax in some documents.

I think you can google. with JEFF (each middle name) Last name, your address and your phone . Of course each name every search.

I got same question but via website (not call in) and failed :-) I just try to increase the selling limited. So don't have to send in docs yet
