Yes, I added a US bank to my UK pp the other day - no need to confirm anything so can withdraw into it - just need a real US account to do transfers - I think a holiday abroad is due - lock your doors... Alps is coming to town =}

It was a VBA and it did not verify my pp so my original post was a bit useless so I deleted it.

I pmd you about that alps, its hard to get a real US acc, there are a few options though. VBA accs like savers better to get cashed out diff way, got a few tips for you...

Not exactly.

For us Canadians, you just need to cross the border, walk into a bank, tell them you're Canadian, and they'll open a bank account for you after showing two piece of ID.

However, I'm quite sure you should be able to do the same even if you are not Canadian, but you do have to show up in a branch in person, however.

Some banks in US will accept Canadian clients without stepping foot in branch - but you will need to mail in docs/fax in
