Ugh paypal
 

so today i got limited, and have to provide supplier invoices and supplier contact info,

how would i go about this if i sold vero items and did not have a receipt =[

hopefully someone has some information that can help me remove this limit

I have asked this a hundred times, Why do you not have a receipt? I dont get why this can happen. Do you not have a receipt or you do and you know they are crap items and will get caught? Those are 2 different things.

If you bought it you should have proof you did.

Make up the invoices and id's. assign a google voice # to the supplier/contact info setup a friend or your Significant other to answer the phone... supply it to paypal... call paypal tell them you have submitted the info.... Paypal will put you on hold for like 5 minutes and CALL THE SUPPLIER... I did this and didn't have anyone to answer the phone, so i talked like i was mentally handicap to the person and he didn't even know it was me the same person on hold on the other phone! It was an epic win situation.

Unfortunately ebay canned that account months later. But it was a proud actor moment for me! ;)

What is the case here? do you not have a receipt or the supplier is not one they will accept?

Keep that to yourself. People can figure that out without it being on a forum for paypal to see.

Pretty soon, If it hasnt happened already paypal will get enough crappy Dr'd invoices, etc and start requiring much more info. I bet they have a poster board of funny Fudged invoices and ID's that they laugh about daily.

One of the things that worries me on the forum is the number of times that good assets get wasted. Entropay is a classic. There are lots of ways round all problems but the enemy seem to find them all - is it because we are too open? Should we be more circumspect and less open on the forum with our advise?

I worry at the cavalier way we burn our bridges for a 5 minute advantage. If you look back on older posts you will see how many work arounds no longer work. I tend to use PM a lot now and I'm selective who I share my 'goodies' with. Not good I know but I take the view that when I need what I know I still want it to be there and blatantly saying 'PS will do it' just tells the enemy what we do.

I can almost see KingRays poster board as I type this. We really must stop assuming they are all idiots or come up with work arounds quicker than they can block them.

Are we our own worst enemies? Hmmm....
