| Ntkc99 | 08-20-2011 04:09 AM | Perm suspension reinstate? Hi! Around 4 momths ago, Ebay banned me for selling "⊗⊗⊗⊗" USB flash drives that at the time, I had no idea of. They banned me and I made a new account, but after 6days, they banned that account. How can I convince them to reinstate my account? I saw a 256GB flash drive for 25$ free shipping so I bought 3 or 4 and sold it for 70$. A few days later, I got banned and I was shocked. I'm always honest with things and if I knew that was ⊗⊗⊗⊗, I wouldn't have sold it. Any suggestions? |
ebaysale | 08-21-2011 03:10 PM | Most important things are change ip address, new phone, registration info, change auction pics and description.
You can find most info you need to go stealth if you search the forum, but if you are a total noob and want all the info in one place get the stealth guide. |
Remember that just because you didn't know the items were phake, doesn't mean it's not your fault. Always make sure that the items you sell are real because eBay has nobody else to blame but you and for all they know you are selling phakes on purpose. So if you are trying to be a legit seller, research your suppliers! |
SweetPea | 08-21-2011 05:32 PM | Unfortunately, it is situations like this that has turned Ebay in to what it is. They want ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items off the site. Pay attention to what you list. You will not be reinstated. You need to create a stealth account. |
ensignia | 08-21-2011 10:00 PM | You didn't know they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Right. |
Ntkc99 | 08-21-2011 11:16 PM | Ahh I can use a new phone number, but would I be able to use the same Paypal? |
munrznnw | 08-22-2011 03:46 AM | Not a good idea, search around the forums and purchase the book, it will be money well spent! |
newjerseymax | 08-22-2011 08:20 AM | 256GB flash drive for $25??? Really??? How could you have not known? Did you research the product and see that nobody even sells anything close to that price?
If its too good to be true.... |
JRYAN34 | 08-22-2011 12:44 PM | 256gb flash drives were not even on the market 4 years ago........... |

| Unlikely to happen - go fresh and stealth. All the best. |
JRYAN34 | 08-22-2011 03:55 PM | You have a better chance of curing cancer than having your account reinstating, for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff you know you were selling. |

That paypal should not be used near ebay again.
Start new.
Research what you sell. Never assume an item is good until you know everything about it.
Read the forum.

Learn a new word. LINK. In stealth it is dangerous to link old info with new info |

Learn a new word. LINK. In stealth it is dangerous to link old info with new info | My Paypal account got limited *permanantly* when it had 20$ inside. Does that mean Paypal stole the 20$ and I am never getting it back? They said that I am unable to withdraw it so now the money is in limbo. What should I do about that situation?
One more question, my IP address changes because it is from a dynamic host. It changes every so often. After it changes, does that mean Ebay cannot track me? |
SweetPea | 08-22-2011 10:17 PM | Sounds like you would benefit from the stealth guide. Do a forum search on IP address changes. I'm sure most of the members here have walked away from far more than $20. |

I am really broke at this point and they take away most of what I have left... I will send them an Email and ask what I can do. |
Trialpay is a way to get the guide even when low on $ |

It's their standard policy - it's a huge nuisance to tons of us but...it is what it is. |

Is it just a torture method? | PayPal claims to have 94.4 million users...If they tie up $20 from 1% or 944,000 of those users that is a little over $18.8 million they are holding for 180 days or 6 months...not sure what the interest accumulated on this amount would be, but believe me they do benefit from this type of action...just think, most people have more than $20 in their account when it gets suspended. |

Then one day it changed to 87 million... | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:53 AM. | |
