| | | UnderBites08 | 08-24-2011 08:06 AM | Let every account sit 30 days? I know this is a high regarded topic, and you get many different opinions. I am wondering if the 30 day rule is the best method as the book states, and working your way up with feedback during those 30 days till your in the clear? |
| HurricaneHuntr | 08-24-2011 08:15 AM | i HAVE had 3 month accounts get booted, it is so much more than we think it is.. from the # of reports they may get, to just who happens to review the reports. If it's some dude doing the midnight shift, He might careless..But if it's some do gooder. You could be booted quickly..It's all a crapshoot and anyone who says otherwise is full of crap. The only sure fire way of making it, and then you might need to provide invoices is to make the account yourself with your real info ss # etc.. lol.. That'd be up there with the bank robbers blowing their load on a huge red lobster feast.. talk about dumb (in case you don't get it... red lobster is some "high end" restaurant for the ghetto people(white or BLACK or ASIAN..Ghetto doesn't mean black in case someone was thinking that), or so they think it is LOL" |

| The best way is really HIGHLY user specific - 30 day is a safe bet and, as you can imagine, for folx trying to get back into a highly successful stealth operation, this is good to start with.
With more experience and experimentation, you can augment your operation. |
| slapped | 08-24-2011 09:07 AM | One of the Biggest Problems I find with Stealth is "The Search for Rules",,,The REAL Truth is that there is NO set of Hard "One Size fits ALL" set of Rules that if a Person Follows that will Guarantee Success every time,,,,Use the Stealth Guide EXACTLY as it is Named,,,,A GUIDE!!!!!
Consider this aspect of the book as a MINIMUM,,,,NOT a Rule,,,then simply do at least the Minimum and stop seeking "The Rule",,,at some point you will get into a Grove of what works for you,,MOST of the Time!!!,,,
Good Luck |
| UnderBites08 | 08-24-2011 09:11 AM | I just feel its getting harder and harder. I did have luck with my one account I let sit there for 4 months. I bought a jordan sticker and got 1 positive feedback then left the account alone for 4 months. I sold one very high risk item and it sold and i was able to drop-ship using the money in my paypal(which was unverified i must add only added a cc to sell). everything was good until i messed up and tried to sell two high risks at once 3 days after the first high risk item. I do think time plays a factor but i wish i knew the magic number. |

Good Luck | I agree. I been working on things for about 5 years now still haven't got constant. its my first year learning about stealth. I used to just sell real quick let them lock the account and withdraw after 180... |

| FandangoKango | 08-24-2011 10:29 AM | 30 days is a safe bet and has works with me, but you need multiple accounts if you don't want to be dissapointed! |

The selling of very high risks is your issue. You need to modify your game plan accordingly. IS it profitable? I am guessing YES - if so, you can imagine that the successful sellers will RARELY tell you how to get it going...you can imagine why... |
| Sandy D | 08-24-2011 01:22 PM | If you are asking if you should wait 30 days to sell high risk items then you might as well sell right away as they will be down and out in time.
Not many new accounts selling high risk items survive for long.
Sure many survive but they are aged accounts with tons of good feedback etc and do not get looked at as often or under so much scrutiny as a new or newer account.
Sell some yard sale stuff for a while on your accounts, build up good fb and time behind you and mix in what you are selling once in a while and see if that works. |

Make several accounts as back up.......wierd part about selling high risk items is that one person on eb ay has sold over 900 of these items and not taken down. I sell 10 and get MC999. I think it's the VERO right onwer selling the item on the side and making bank or he knows the person selling high risk item and getting cut! |
| Ultimate | 08-24-2011 05:35 PM | 30 day account is safest as new , but anyway it is under radar.. maybe not so stricly as new, but wherever... the safe account is 90 days old FROM first sale ,when first limits can be removed if You received first 10 feedback with DSR.
Most of people thinking, that sleeping 90 days old account is with no limits, no- eBay counts 90 days from date of first sale . |
| GreenBean | 08-24-2011 06:20 PM | 30 days, 90 days, whatever. It's the operational method that is the key to success. And that is not specific to ebay :spy: |
Silence of the Lambs has spoken. |
| UnderBites08 | 08-24-2011 10:02 PM | Yeah I have a goal to make all the accounts wait at least 30 and get a feedback of 20 of more before i sell anything really. |

| ovidiu | 09-03-2011 02:05 AM | If you're talking about eBay, won't matter, because they look at when you first start selling. Bear in mind that you can do everything right, and then still get booted. Why do you think some of us are on here?
For Amazon, keep it cool your first month, sell trinkets, no risky stuff, ask each and every one of your buyers for feedback. Your goal is 10 positives. |
