How has phone tethering been working out for you?
 

I would like to know how has it worked out for you.

PHONE TETHERING FOR DUMMIES-Its usually a program on your smart phone equiped with wifi that let's you use your phone's internet to a computer, usually a laptop. Some companies let you have it but they charge you extra. You can also hack your smart phone and get it for free. But be careful on your data useage, it can add up.

Please put your make and model of phone and if your using either 3g or 4g. Also what company are you using and data usage per month if you know it.

Me first--i am using a huawei ascend with cricket wireless or Leap comm. I am using 3g but the doenload speeds are kinda slow. I use it for EB and PP stealth. I only use about a few GBs a month. But hey for $55 per month i can't complain, get unlimted everything even data.

I also like that i get tons of new IP address for stealth.

3g or 4g (sometimes) with Sprint. Successfully tethered for stealth eBay for over 6 years using at least 3 different phone models. I currently use the software "Tether" for Android on an Epic 4G, so I don't have to pay a tether fee. Probably do around 1gb a month of data for various purposes.

Sprint 4g using app easy teather pro. Works amazing only one time fee of 10$. 80 bucks a month for phone plan all unlimited. My company pays for my phone too:D

I use barnacle tethering for all of my needs. Its a free program. I have been using tethering for about 7 months now.
