I phone 4 to switch between accounts??
 

I have heard this will work but just wondered if anybody has tried it, basically i have set up 2 stealth accounts using 2 different IP address on my PC, i have heard that switching the i phone to airplane mode while on 3G will change the IP address allowing me to easily switch between my accounts and check my ebay,paypal etc>

Yes it does work, I do it all the time. Just make sure you keep track of all the ips you have used so you don't use the same between the 2 accounts.

Are you tethering your iPhone 4 to your computer or logging in via your phone's Safari or P or eB's direct link/icon on your iPhone? I thought I read on this forum that eB and P could possibly track us via our cell phone's telephone number. Is this correct?

I will be doing it through my i phones internet connection 3G, not tethering.

You have an option on iphone 4 to clean cookies, history and cache. Normally i do that more than once (exagerated perhaps but i try to be sure) , then flight mode about 1 minute and then log in each time.

Where do you find the option to clean cookies/history/cache on an iPhone 4? I found "reset" under "general" but I'm afraid I'll lose valuable info if I push any of the buttons. Can eB and P see any other info (phone number, serial number, etc.) from our phones other than the IP address?

To clean history, its settings, safari, then clear, history,cookies,cache. still a pretty good way of switching between accounts

I have just been informered on another thread i started that there is an i phone APP called IP manager that allows you to change your ip address at the touch of a button an keep track of all IP's used

do you do it using the Paypal APP?

i don´t recommend using pay pal application. It happened before that they store the phone number using it. when one of my accounts was limited before i received an email message stating i should cancel or delete my pay pal application or remove any logo of them.

So it means we cant use paypal app, actually i used to use paypal app 6 months back before getting suspended from pp, now i have a new paypal account and i already have upgraded my IOS to IOS 5 but ofcourse i still have the same phone so i am too scared to access my pp account using my iPhone? What you say is there a risk or is it safe to use it again?

I really have doubts on this and therefore i can´t say (or if you want don´t have the knowledge) it´s safe. But the bottom line for me is if i have doubts (depending on each situation of course) i don´t risk it with pp. It depends if you can lose an account easily or not. Sorry for a dubious answer about your issue. I think maybe someone can add more info to your questions and answer you properly. But guaranteed this will happen or not going to happen i doubt someone will state.
