40,000 cap instead of 20k anyone else had simular
 

experince i hit 39,000 before i got the "request" i got to thinking i had two bay users, accounts linked to one pp did this give us a 40,000 cap instead of 20,000 i know this goes against stealth accounts but if this works its worth scarificing one name for another 20k !

No, most likely just a error on there part there required to ask for it on 20k and 200 transactions by law so wouldn't matter whether you had 1 ebay account or 100 ebay accounts linked.

If you think like PP, it doesn't matter. They have a year to ask you. If you don't come up with the info, they suspend you and it's lost forever. Nothing to report to the Gov without an EIN.

Yeah just a glitch, I was asked about that far as well.

Not sure how it will work for people that hit it and dont get asked yet. I am checking into it actually with someone familiar with this stuff. I am seeing what the legal limits are for paypal to get SSN from banks when it comes to IRS reporting.

People always say no they cannot but not sure how their legal dealings are and what overrides what when it comes to the IRS needing the info.

When I find out I will post it.
