| qwerty | 03-28-2008 03:22 PM | Banned from CCNow ftw Long story short, my account got closed from CCnow becuase it was mistakenly linked to my website (which sell mod kits), and was orignalyl supposed to be used for ebay...and yes i tried calling them and multiple emails but basically I am **** out of luck.
I talked to the guy and asked what if I open account from CCnow, and he said I could try, he wasnt to sure on this.
Also note that I never entered my bank information.
My question is if I open a CCNow account with a new id, possibly same name and address, email, do you think I can let this slide?
Yes I am really pissed off atm... |
| ebayhateluv | 03-28-2008 04:48 PM | hi-I've been with ccnow since last august-what is a Mod kit? |
| FrancisK | 03-28-2008 05:42 PM | What exactly was the violation? How did linking it to your website violate policy? |
| mantisinc | 03-28-2008 06:04 PM | Yes, I don't quite understand the violation. Were you selling items that were prohibited with CCNOW payments? |
| k1ley4evr | 03-28-2008 06:18 PM | mod kit, is a chip placed in a video game console system to enable it to play bootleg games. |
| thelizardking | 03-28-2008 06:25 PM | Oh there you go... |
| FrancisK | 03-28-2008 07:08 PM | Can't really blame them for that....
Try another merchant account, there are plenty to chose from. |
| qwerty | 03-28-2008 09:01 PM | Well any others with same price range as CCnow? I am not exactly a big time ebay seller, just medum-small.
And this is the retarded issue, they were LED kits, LED lights and wires to make stuff light up...I honestly dont understand how the hell that is modchip relatied crap? Plus those were run through my old PAYPAL store I didnt even use CCNow for even 1 transaction for those....
But yeah think I should try reopening a new acct? |
| Thechronicles | 03-28-2008 09:41 PM | honestly i think that they are going to shut you down, because if you think about it you broke one of their rules, so why would they let you slide on another account?
but trying doesnt hurt =D |
| Thechronicles | 03-29-2008 07:54 AM | i dont know if ccnow requires ss#
i have not tried it
but from what i know you shouldnt put in your ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info with ccnow, they do NOT share any of your info. with ebay. |
| qwerty | 03-29-2008 08:44 AM | Obviously not :P
But to a sense it seems I am banned form there now, and I did not put in my SS not my bank account #. They have my name and my home address though. |
| Thechronicles | 03-29-2008 08:59 AM | so how were you abe to recieve money if you did not give them your bank account info.? |
| qwerty | 03-29-2008 10:29 AM | Thats the point i was in the procses of setting everything up, I did NOT use CCnow at all, I didnt even complete a payment or iniate one.... |
| Thechronicles | 03-29-2008 10:43 AM | so you should try to make another ccnow account under your spouses name, you should have no problem |
| qwerty | 03-29-2008 11:11 AM | What about the address, should I get a PO box?
What about the banking information, would they care if the bank name does not match my spouses name? I never entered my new bank account info with them earlier so just wondering.
And when they want to see my store, what URL should I give them, just the id to my ebay? |
| Thechronicles | 03-29-2008 11:13 AM | if you want to be extra careful you can get a p.o. box, as for the bank info. as far as i know they only ask for your bank name and the checking acount number or saving account number, so you don't have to worry about any of that but i would get a po box just to be on the safe side. |
| thelizardking | 03-29-2008 07:25 PM | Yes they require SS#, you don't have to add a Bank Account cause you can get paid by check...you will have to use all new info but it has to be real info...try mom, dad, brother, spouse, etc... |
| Thechronicles | 03-29-2008 08:04 PM | take his advice^
i agree with him. |
| qwerty | 03-30-2008 12:21 AM | When i signed up with CCNOW I was never asked for SS# unless you have to enter it upon payment :O.
So does anyone still know if its ok to use a PO box with CCNow? Even if I get a check in mail it has to be sent to me via mail.
Also what URL do you guys give for your store? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:42 PM. | |
