You can PM the answer if you'd prefer, but how many PPs do you funnel into the verified account and what $ amount are we talking about?

I don't want to jeopardize the one that I have that has been verified and up and running for years.

About $50 a transaction, send it right to the primary. Explained more in detail in PM.

oh, I didn't even know ebay allowed that. But the problem is PP has a monopoly on most users. I guess if the buyer was willing to use GC without whining or questions I would think about it. Is GC just like PP?

first off im a GIRL dang it! we can be crafty to ya know? and yes i meant using google check out insted of PP

and you cannot advertise on ebay that you accept google check out because they want you to use the feepay owned devils spawn PP so you just put you accept creditcards and then you send the customer googlecheckout invoices. ebay cant dictate who you use as a merchant acct provider.

i use GC and have had no decline in sales and dont pay ANY FEES till 2008 yay!

I don't think that EB actually facillitates a way to use GC, but you can say that you accept VISA and MC and then send them through GC.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that this is the way it works.

Default Social Security SS# Question - will PayPal learn details of whose SS# it is?

I'm just getting ready to open a new Paypal account to go with my new ebay account. Basically, I'm putting all of my wife's info on both accounts (since she never has an eBay or Paypal account). The only things I am changing are address (using my work), and phone (using my work phone). Othe rthan that, I'd like to keep it on the up-and-up, since i really don't want to go through hassle of getting limited/shutdown. I really don't have a proble verifying the account with my wife's social security number - my only question is: "Is there anything with the social security number that would actually provide them with her real home address". Hoping not, but looking for help here.
Thanks!

Not sure about them verifying the SS# with the address I think they do some kind of credit check to verify the info like the name, but they will also want to verify your address with some kind of doc most likely...a utility bill or bank statement..you said you were using a work address...I would find a way around this..

You won't be able to avoid limitation but you will have a good chance at getting it lifted..if you can provide what they want..

i have heard in previous posts that paypal does a "soft" credit check, and it does show you current address. so i would really rethink using your wifes ss#.

well all of yours sons information would have to match with you ebay account, but just incase i wouldnt do it, because in the future they will ask for a photo id of the info. you provided which is your son and then they are going to find out hes 15 and they will suspend you.

I think if they run a credit check on the SS# they can find out everything about them including age.

HI, TD; Thats the problem, when trying to link the eb and pp--
Thats why the Majority has said to create your own merchant accts..
Then--Yes, you can use a Relatives name for eb... BUT the merchant acct -in your own name, which pp doesnt see--
---Problem with eb + pp-as since theyre linked now--when 1 goes, both go, or both limited, vice versa..
>> If u really need pp, do u have a relative that will allow u to use their eb acct/pp acct if they are a casual buyer? Your mom?

I have one-or-two SS# I could use but was just wondering if pp would realize that SS# belongs to a 15-yr. old?

The way I got around the $500 limit is I have a few accounts...they are all capped at $500 per mo. Well...here is a crazy equation for you: 1pp = $500 2pp = $1,000 3pp = $1,500 etc. etc. Yes, have sell against myelf but so far so good.
