What about DO NOT MAKE BANK ACCOUNTS at this point do you not understand.

You should clear your existing problems even before you make a basic account.

Check your CIFAS rating. £12 plus VAT but it gives you more info about yourself in that area.

CIFAS - For Individuals only £12+VAT per person
i see, its just i need at least one account FAST.

The CIFAS record would have showed up on my credit report? then there is no point in getting one of those is there as it would come out clean? or would this show other useful information?

Ok just got off the phone to tsb, they stated that there are random checks conducted on customer accounts and my account was chosen for review, upon reviewing it they found "adverse information" on my account that violated the "terms & conditions/user agreement" and made a business decision to close the account, thats all they would say, now i would have to go in branch and pickup all the remaining funds.

They said that this would not affect my credit rating, and asked whether a CIFAS would be placed on it, and they stated that there would not be.

im absoluteley clueless here?? the only thing i can remember is a few dodgy transactions which i did not make and reported it to them and got refunded.

Surley you have had money going in under a stealth name ?

i had this happen with natwast, walked out with my money, down the road and opened one with halifax.

i did make a few payments from a stealth paypal to the this tsb account, 2 years ago, which later got blocked after a couple months of use.
I did ask them if this was transaction related but they said it wasnt and that it was something to do with adverse information on the account. **** knows what thats supposed to mean.
But tsb did say no CIFAS would be registered against me.

The only thing i can think of is, that they think im some sort of money mule, cause i transfer money via western union to my agent regularly???

Yep this has happened to me also and it's kind of spooky looking at the OP's user LOL I received two letters one from RBS and one from Natwest that they are closing my accounts and this comes after when a couple months ago HAlifax and HSBC closed my accounts too.

Some banks close you because the first names don't match. That happened to me. Some banks will accept it and some wont'. All I can tell you is to find banks that will accept this and hope you have good fortune.
