Why is it only me?
I started a new website with a new verified pp account selling online subscriptions to filehosting sites.
It worked for almost a week before PP limited my account saying that I'm selling items that are violating pp aup (PayPal Acceptable Use Policy) and they won't remove the limitation until I remove the pp logos & stop accepting PP on that site, I did that and they removed the limitation.
I then tried to write (twice) to email the a u p @ pp . com explaining that what I'm selling has been accepted by pp for years, and showed them at least a dozen of websites selling the exact services and accepting pp and told them that those websites have been operating for years (so that it's impossible that pp missed all of them somehow).
Their reply was always the same answer: 1 - What you are selling violates the pp aup
2 - Thank you for pointing out those sites, we'll investigate those sites further, however for privacy reasons we can't share the result of our investigation.
It's been 2 weeks now, and all the other sites are still running normally, but they always still refuse to 'legalize' my site (always the same answer), and still refusing to say what is it that I'm missing, to be able to operate.
I've been trying unsuccessfully to contact the aup dept. by phone (they only accept emails.)
My purpose is not to shut down those other sites, but to run my business back again.
I had no problems with my earlier sites (providing the exact same services / items) and got shut down back then for a totally different reason.
I'm a bit angered and lost on what my next step should be.
Do you advise to keep fighting, or start all over again?
