negative paypal...what could happen...Help!!
 

So I was selling vero items and got suspended.
now i am about to have a negative paypal balance of about 3k for not as described(because ebay sent those messages for the buyers to dispute the items and some not received.
honestly they are heavy things to ship and Idon't have shipping money yet.

that income sourse got cut off and I did not expect buyers to be putting in claims for merchandise they have already gooten due to ebay messages.

what could happen? police? fbi?

i want to pay it and am doing as much as I could to gather money.. there will be like 7 or 8 disputes..will they give me time to pay?

and yes all my real info...collections doesn't bother me...I hope thats all that it would be though

If you don't mind your credit score flooring then yeah sure, ignore them.

Credit score might take a hit - you`re not dealing in an obscene amount that should have law involved - all the best. What were you selling?

I was selling jeans ..can't chargeback the fees cause i paid them with my paypal...? I wish i could pay it..just have no money.

oh and the stuff i can not ship is not the jeans...its electronics

Im going to give you the best advice ever!

1. Email your customers explaining what happened and to your best thoughts. Either they will go along with it and not give you problems or they will give you problems.

2. If you already gave your ssn to paypal and you expect a loss the you should pay it unless you don't care collections being on your credit for a while a long while.

3. If you have not given your ssn or any kind of id to paypal and you don't care about losing the account then forget about it and let paypal deal with it since they are asses about it.

4. For ebay if you can save it and save it from negative feedback then do what you have to do.

5. If all fails then plan b is to go stealth. Good luck!


No the fbi nor the police will be on you unless you have scammed like a million dollars in stuff.
I have gone through this and most customers will help you along with it.

FandangoKango Thank you..i feel a bit better and i will follow your advice but i am still going stealth because i cannot risk being turned off whenever they feel like it..trying to support a family here and there are no jobs here whatsoever, ebay has been our main income pretty much for 5-6 years now.

let me revise that, i am going to create more than 1 stealth, will always have a backup now

If ebay has been your income, then how did you get in such a mess in the 1st place?

If you made errors this round, are you going to be able to avoid them in future.

Say you were drop shipping, then you have try to have enough funds to cover shipping and/or refunds.

Smilies waving are not business.

Get your emails going to your buyers. Prepare an email for paypal as to your intentions to work with them.

Look to the future. A dent on your credit score might be damaging down the line.:juggle:
