eBay updated Verification system!!
 

Hi, everyone! Looks like eBay has updated their account verification system.
If your account gets flagged with MC999 and does not pass the phone call then the eBay selling account will be suspended.
eBay does not accept documents anymore. (because they have a new updated verification system, if your address is not in it you will be banned)

I had a problem called eBay and received this bad news!

so either your address matches your name in the public database or you lose your account? Dont make sense cause people move all the time. But who knows with ebay

People do move, but they will ask for your previous address to verify it. SUCKS!

No it's not! lol. It's when you have a new account and list a high risk item. ;)

Why would you list a high risk item on a new account? still can't figure out why people do that, sure you might get away with it sometimes but with low-risk you get away with it everytime, you must be using that fuzzy wuzzy logic heh...

Everyone at EB refers to themselves as this...

Make an account list a high risk item and call eBay.

Try calling them again maybe you had someone who was pissed to be working on a saturday

digging their own grave. if ebay banned all of the stealth sellers there would only be a handful of people selling on ebay. if you open a new account and list a rolex 5 minutes later, you deserve to be banned. i have a few accounts i purchased from jbluntz and lakeman that i bought almost a month go. i listed "safe" items as recently as this morning, these being the first items i have listed and i have not received mc999. stop trying to sell VERO and high risk day one, minute one. its been said 10000000000000 times on here. ive only been on these forums a few weeks and all of the posts say the same thing over and over again

Yeah the question is when to start listing high risk items....They might have changed the mc999 process if your name dont match the address.

Ebay and paypal are becoming like the banks! too big too fail, but they will meet their doomsday!

Relatively new idea of eb not accepting docs - will see how this goes.

this happens only sometimes , and then if you call back and get a rep, they email you the request for docs. You have no idea how those accounts were made by sellers here.
If they do it the way I think they do, Id worry down the road if you sell stuff that could be a problem. Just a heads up. And no greenbean I wont post how. Love you too btw

I sell 1000+ items a day. I run 100+ eBay 100+ amazon accounts. I know eBay and Amazon inside out. I do this for a living. Mc999 does not have to come right away. It can hit your account months from now!

To rest: CONFIRMED EBAY DOES NOT ACCEPT DOCS ANYMORE. SOON PAYPAL WILL FALLOW.

MC0999 is a notice to verify the info on the ebay account is accurate.

If there is a suspicion of a link, another code is used.:doh:

'Talk' is just that.

I dont for one moment suggest it may not have an element of realism.

But until it's in writing, it's a part of a discussion between you & an ebay staffer.

I also do not doubt your expertize. But until there's more evidence, this is anecdotal.

Ebay probly has Mt.s and Mt.s of docs and they got to lazy to go through them all so thats probly why they stopped accepting docs. I could see it now a desk pilled high to the celling with faxed unread doc's :lol:

I just sold on 10 brand new accounts today, not a single one got mc999.

Had MC999 two days ago. Called in, agent asked straight for docs no questions or quizes at all.

Few hours later docs were sent. Wait time to review docs said aprox. 8 business days or more.

Not yet and vcc is all I've ever needed, didn't even sign up for paypal yet, it's not rocket science, any account ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info real info whatever, any vcc, any phone # and any low risk item is all you need to get started.

Seems like Ebay considers everything high risk these days....that's why I ask.

I've never started out with a verified paypal, don't even sign up for paypal till later most of the time.

If you can't think of any low risk items to build accounts, then I guess you have never stepped into any random retail store in your entire life.
