Hello! Suspended from Ebay~

Hey guys, I got a call in my day nap from Ebay yesterday asking me if I owned the items I bought...

Obviously I do, but I dont have invoices from them since I buy the items from a guy in another state online and he ships them. Kinda like drop ship

And what do you know? They want me to send them invoices. BOOOOOOO

This sucks. Hahaha

:juggle:

AHH EDIT: NOT SUSPENDED. LIMITED. LIMITED

You should stay away from drop shipping, but as far as the invoices go, you need to get creative.

Hmm well I work at a business and can make an invoice from my business (Its the same sort of products).

But I'm just worried they'll call and whatnot and my boss would probably be like ugh.

If you really dont want to hassle with it, then just move on. Keep in mind, if they caught you for what your selling, then they will most likely do the same for the next account you make. Learn from the mistake/past and you wont run into the same issues.

Yeah it sucks to be the one who gets shot though. There are sellers who have sold hundreds of this specific item and they are fine. I guess its because I had an inactive seller's account for 5 years and started flowing at 200$-300$ a day

RedShootingStar 10-22-2011 10:20 PM

I wouldnt say the $300 boost a day tipped them off. If you are selling phake or brand name items in high volume, then this would be the root of the problem. Your best bet would be to just stop selling them or to not use the brand name/common picture. try selling them off in bunches or all in one. I would recommend making an account to last, which is done by avoiding phakes.

OP has not said that was what he was selling. So most of the advice is inaccurate. Lay off the phake-speak. :boink:

Hehe I think I sold items in the gray/blackhat area. IE Ms Office 2011. They're all genuine keys but dont come with retail box or disc, so we burn the discs onto blanks and mail those with the keys to avoid the digital goods policy.

Edit: Realized i can still buy stuff >_<. seller account restricted. Although i dont see much of a difference since I barely buy ebay items anymore, i guess its better to clarify

Well you're doing something wrong, in that case you have to deal with the consequences. If you're going to continue selling BS software then you have to be prepared when accounts get shut down.
