Paypal and VCC for UK.Any advice
 

Hi.I just wondered if i can start selling and receiving money in uk paypal after verify it with VCC and if it works goood paypal add bank account.Iam a bit confused.Some threads say you need bank acc for paypal only other say you can use vcc first to sell.I was about to buy some vcc from here but iam not sure if i need it to start selling or only have to add bank acc..And my other confusion is that i have aged ebay buyer acc stealth and wondered if i use paypal with different info and link them is it ok?.The paypal is verified and aged as well(stealth)?Thanks

I am pretty sure that you should verify your pp with the bank account BEFORE selling in the UK. Numerous posts by your fellow UKers on this.

you can add vcc and start selling, up to £650 normally. Saying that, there is a particular set up to selling unverified, and if you do not use it then you get a message saying you have to add verifed paypal, when trying to sell and of course verifed means bank in UK.

So i can start selling only with vcc in paypal.What are these settings up to do that.Do you mean some set up in paypal.Thanks

You can set up an UK eBay sellers accounts using a PayPal VCC

I have accounts which I set up this year with VCC only on PP and they started off with the £650 limit and then raised the limit to £1900 - No bank account added still only VCC. Trick is to selling reall slowly, make your account look genuine...

whats the best VCC to use in the UK?

No one will tell you the 'best' VCC..its something you need to use the search button on..and to be fair everyone has their own opinions on

I would suggest taking it slow and selling a little until you can add the bank account.

Once you have added your bank account and sell more you may hit the £1900 limit.

In order to remove the £1900 limit, they check against the electoral register or alternatively ask for documents to prove ID.

I have sent in documents and they are taking over a week! Been 7 working days already...

I've noticed if you submit your docs after the 1900 limit and wait 2-3 days..and they do nothing call them and they remove the limitation of £1900 instantly..

Is there a particular point at which PP will requests docs for raising the £1900 limit? I mean, is it bang on the moment you reach £1900 or can it happen before then (without you requesting the raise)?

it is on or after the £1650 mark

Now of course, regarding the question as said it's once you start hitting £1600+ onwards that you'll get a message come up about your limitation..of course there is many easy ways around the limitation even if your stealth..
