authentic items such as abercrombie juicy couture north face

okay so how soon on a new account can u list authentic items such as the above brands ...i have been listing really low value items that have not been bringing in the income and i have lots of auth brand name things that could really bring me in much needed funds these days...or are they all considered vero on new accounts..if it is ok...which brands are best to get by with>? thanks

Any VERO brand on an account of less than a year has to be suspect wouldn't you say?

cardfelon 10-31-2011 10:22 AM

All of those names are VERO items. Big companies like those spend big money to market their lines of clothing. If you are selling used stuff then it isn't too bad. But if you start trying to list new stuff then don't expect it to last long.

why would you even bother selling those items? you are asking for a long life of hell online selling that crap. Can you not find something else. why would you pick one of the most risky items to sell online.

Also, how are they authentic? you bought them from the Mfr? or authentic on alibaba? Hopefully not your local flea market.

They will be shut down with vero. Sell one item that is used like a book or something you got around and then start listing slowly on each account nomatter what it is. You will need invoices and they might call you and ask where you get your items so be ready to make sense!

12th of NEVER would be a good date to list them.

OK, well some are my kids north faces that are used and some I bought at consignmment, I know the difference so i know for a fact they are auth but I will pass then if it is a risk.

FandangoKango 10-31-2011 06:40 PM

You can sell, but you will just have to learn how to sell. Only you will know how to list good after practice.

KingRay 10-31-2011 10:56 PM

You will still be at just as much risk. They will question the items and then you will have to submit tons of info and where you got them. Show receipts, etc. Just a hassle for that little bit of money.

If you have 1 or two jackets I don't think it is an issue. It is when you show a pattern of selling the same exact item. You can list vero here and there but spread out the brands and choose wisely. Some don't bother you at all and some do. If you spread different styles , brands etc etc you should make some good money. I always say variety ,variety, variety .

There is a lot of money to be made in that field. Authentic suppliers are out there which is a tell tale sign of what is being distributed to secondary sales channels for resale and what is not. Invoices shouldn't be an issue if you have authorized distributors backing you

yeah vero can be listed here and there like above post say. But not a niche unless you get about 100 seller feedbacks first.

BS about the 100 feedback. I have seen 0 feedback people selling insane items. Its just ebay retarted method of making things work.

LoopHole 11-17-2011 12:38 AM

You can sell north face products with 0 feedbacks. You will have to be extra careful tho. But... if they are f*ke you will get bad feedback quickly and the account will be shut down. North face is WELL known by people, 80% of your buyers will be able to distinguish real from replica. So be careful.
