Negative Paypal Account
 

I did do the research here but I can not get the info I need.

My pay pal account was negative now because they made a refund to buyer because the buyer's account got limited. (No dispute)

I did add the tracking number to pp and the item was deviled but pay pal still refunded my money to buyer.

Now, my account is -$583. The account is stealth but the only real info is my bank info.

How can I do for the next? Can I just ignore the account or I have to pay it off?

I would ignore it but thats me...if its stealth it wont affect your credit

If the account is attached to a good EB then yes its worth paying back the money. A good EB account is worth more then $500. I can easily profit more then that in a week when I get fully up and running.

If you don't pay they can still come after you for that money but they would need a court order to get the bank account info from your bank. They will spend more then $500 to get that info so i dont think they will do it. but they could use you as a "Poster child" for any and all non paying debt beats.

So the choice is yours.....

and of course you need to close the bank account asap before they try to debit it for the amount owed...

Contact the buyer and tell them your gonna contact the popo for lying and your going to court.

I did that once they tried to e check but It takes a couple days to close so xfer right away all the funds out

Not buyer's problem, it was pp's problem. PP limited the buyer and my money went back to the buyer. He has no idea since he can not get the money from pp too.

I guess the EB account is worthless or just junk so he is ditching it.

PayPal will only charge your bank for the negative balance if you have preapproved payments and they attempt to charge one. Like if you used PayPal as your reimbursement method on Ebay. PayPal doesn't just charge your bank arbitrarily in order to gain losses.
