Can I give suppliers my Stealth Account Name when registering with them?
 

I was wondering if it was possible for Amazon and Ebay to link accounts by Suppliers verifying my identity with them.

You know what I mean, when you go to the brands website and give them your tax id and other details. Ive been noticing some of them ask for the Ebay/Amazon Seller ID.

I don't want to give this out if my account is going to be doomed.

Any help would be appreciated.

You go stealth on them too - I would not let suppliers know my info...some of them will bring you down.

I let mine have my suspended accounts I guess thy link them to their I offer for fdback

with any stealth account its always good to keep the information consistent. I say stealth stealth stealth!

If the supplier is a legit major corporation here in the US that is one thing. If you were carrying their lines of products and they are VERO then they would need to know your Ebay user ID so your listings don't get taken down for policy violations.

But if this is a supplier off of DHGate or Ioffer, Alibaba etc... Then no way would I ever give them any of my info. They don't verify anything off Ebay or Amazon.

To answer your question in regards to can you be linked between the two should a supplier actually "verify" you with Ebay or Amazon I would say that wouldn't happen.

The supplier is legitimate, but would they let you sell with a Stealth account?

I'd use all my stealth info but suppliers often ask for more documentation then ebay or amazon.

It seems kind of dumb to start a new business for each stealth account or is this what I need to do?

There really isn't any way for the supplier to find out the name and address that is associated with a Ebay account. I can only imagine that they want your Ebay user id to verify you are selling the item??

Only the VERO members can take down there own listings. Right?

I dont share my info with anyone.

It is required for me to have a vendors license or EIN etc to purchase from many of my suppliers so I have several of them in different names that do not match any account I have on eb.


No way would I allow someone to know what I am doing as they will see the success I have had with their product and would be competing back against me.

I thought a couple suppliers were re selling on ebay so I asked one of the packing guys who is getting paid 8.00 per hour who does all of the ebay work here and he replied they do not sell on ebay and they do not have time to even think about it.

For me, I also do a lot of buying of antiques and collectibles so I am lucky in that regard.
