Google earth.
 

I have used it a few times sometimes a good picture sometimes not.
Well today I go down to my town hall, to get a permit for work I am doing to my house. I ask them if they need to come and take a look. They say no jump on the computer, type in a number and zoom into my house. I mean you could see my dog clear as day in the back yard. (talk about big brother)

Just wonder how long it would take a company like ebay to use something like google earth to check address and stuff.
Pretty soon personal information will be what cars are parked in the driveway? and do you have any pets? any kids? do you have a swing set in your back yard?

pictures from google earth are standstill, I don't think it's live

Google earth is standstill, updated often, But the one they had at the town hall. (it wasn't google earth) was amazing. I will not be sunbathing nude in my backyard I will tell you that.

I've never seen the commercial version so I'm not too sure.

Last I checked pictures in my area were updated 6-12 months ago.

It's a neat service, but nothing what it can be 10 years from now.
