IPhone cookies, cache and history question
I have been using my IPhone for multiple accounts and I have been clearing cookies and turning on/off airplane mode between logging into each account, and obviously I dont log into all of them back to back to back.
I just noticed something that concerns me and I'd like some input from you guys.
I did several item searches on Ebay through my IPhone without logging into any of my accounts.
I exited safari, used airplane mode and cleared cookies and went back to ebay to log into one of my accounts. When I was about to log in I noticed that "your recent searches" still appeared on ebay's homepage, even though I had cleared cookies and changed IP.
I did airplane mode again, verified the IP changed, cleared cookies again, and the "recent searches" items were still appearing. I turned off my iphone completely, turned it back on, cleared cookies again, and they were still there.
I deleted history, and went back and the searches were gone.
I'm a little concerned because I did not clear history every time I changed from account to account, but did erase cookies and changed IP every time.
Anyone understand why it took clearing history to get rid of those "recent searches"? And since I didnt clear history every tyime I changed accounts are they more than likely linked now?
**Update**
I just logged into one of my account and searched for an item, logged off, changed IP and cleared cookies, and when I go back to EBay the previous searches from before as well as my new search are appearing.. Not making much sense to me..
