Can you dial up and tether to PC with a cell phone?

I know we can dial up with a home phone.

Any cell phone can do the same job?

Most can. As long as you have the phone and data package that allows it.

You will need the tethering software and you will be good to go.

tethering and dial up are different.

Hey Rsot!

I did not read the question that way.

I read it as though they were using dial up and wanted to go to tethering instead.

Op can set us correct if this is what they mean.

If I was reading it correctly you dont need dial up anymore if you have the right phone and software OP.
