cease and desist letter..advice?
 

so I was sent this letter from Guru Denim because of my listings on ioffer..they are demanding I send them the signed letter along with accounting of how many sold...the thing is I never even sold any on ioffer...they removed the listings! So what is best to do...respond and tell the truth that I never sold any or just ignore?

let me revise was sent an email and they received my name and info from paypal...

E-mail is hardly considered registered letter - do not respond. Do not relist. Is it in your real name? Again - do not respond.

.yes they have my real info from paypal..I know that was a dumb a** mistake on mypart...but nothing I can do now. I will not respond but what are the chances this will escalate?

Chances are low - especially when you say you have not sold any. Though I am NOT an attorney (and if you really want more advice, I recommend you consult one), I will safely say that 1) do not get too worried up after just an e-mail 2) seems like you have not sold any so it's low on their radar. All the best.

Ignore - they cannot prove you received it

Chances of anything happening are low. When they purchase a set from you, or they have a customs seizure in yiour name, THEN they have actual PROOF that the items in question were ⊗⊗⊗⊗. In this case, all they have is a listing which is not really proof of anything.
